    Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint

    Best Lipstain Ever!

I have this in Hope (The full size comes in the Sephora Give Me Some Lip lip sampler set) and I hadn't really looked into it before buying. I assumed it'd be at least somewhat drying, since it's matte, AND it's a lipstain. I was pleasantly surprised, since it's not drying at all! I don't even have to put lip balm under it! It's not exactly moisturizing, but it does feel really good on your lips. It's got a minty taste, scent, and feel, which I personally like. They stay on forever too! I hardly ever have to reapply them, although if you have a lipbalm underneath or a gloss on top, they don't last quite as long. I'd definitely repurchase this when I run out, even though they're 24 dollars a piece (I got the entire lip set for 25 dollars on Sephora's website, and it has around 6 products (2 are full size), so you might want to check that out). I haven't tried out the other finishes so I can't compare them to the matte one, but it's a great product in general!

  • Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo

I was talked into buying this by an employee at Lush while I was there about a year ago, and this is definitely my go to dry shampoo. It really works! I can't wash my hair every day (It's extremely fine and starts breaking and looking dull if I do) so dry shampoo is a MUST for me. You get TONS of this in the bottle (I got it almost a year ago and I'm about 1/4 through it) and it's not very expensive. It does make your hair look and feel really clean, and it doesn't make your hair feel disgusting like other dry shampoos I've tried. It smells really nice too! The only problems I have with this product involve packaging. It's packaged like a lotion and tends to get all over when you use it. Since it's such a fine powder, when you try and squirt, it poofs out and goes all over the place. When I try to apply it directly TO my hair, it still ends up all over. Also, I'm not totally sure if I just bought a dude bottle, but it won't close all the way. All of this aside, it's a really great dry shampoo (you do get a little bit of residue, but nothing you can't brush out) with packaging that needs some work. I'd definitely repurchase this!

    Illamasqua Nail Varnish

    Favorite polish!

I recently got the purple one of these as a treat for myself (I normally don't spend this much on nail polish) and you're definitely paying for quality here. This nail polish, unlike any other I've ever tried dries with a kind of rubbery flexible finish which makes it almost completely chip-proof! There aren't a huge amount of colors to choose from, but the ones they have are GORGEOUS! I wish I could have every color. They just last and last! They blow OPI out of the water. You honestly only need one coat to get your nails completely covered and streak free! I'll definitely be buying more of these.

  • Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Extra Nourishing Cream Conditioner

I bought this when I ran out of conditioner without really thinking about it. I also bought the shampoo with it, which I don't like, and I thought it was the conditioner that was making my hair greasy for the longest time. Recently, I tried it with a different shampoo, and it worked wonders! It made my (super thin, prone-to-breakage hair) super soft, silky, and shiny. It detangled my hair and made it feel great in general. It doesn't weigh down my hair either, which is a huge problem with conditioner for me. It smells AMAZING too. I'd definitely repurchase this. Just don't buy the shampoo if you're prone to greasiness.

  • Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB Cream

The first BB Cream I ever tried was the Garnier Fructis one. It was horrible, dark, and left my skin looking so shiny it appeared wet. I heard good things about this one, and it came in a shade light enough for my EXTREMELY fair skin, so I decided to give it a try. Despite the negative reviews this is getting, I actually really do like it! On the packaging it SAYS that it has a really sheer coverage, which it does. I'm really not looking for coverage in a BB cream, so this doesn't bother me at all. If you just apply concealer in areas such as around your eyes and on trouble areas, it makes your skin look really great. It does even out my skin tone a little bit and makes redness less noticeable. If you in general have pretty good skin and don't really need much to cover your zits, this would be a good fit for you. I personally have problem with redness (my skin is really cool toned in general and I'm extremely pale) and I've tried so many redness correctors! This works just as well as any I've tried, and I was surprised how much it canceled out red areas since the coverage is so sheer. It has absolutely no scent, which I'm pretty neutral about. I know for a fact that the Garnier BB cream has an extremely strong scent that lingers on your face for hours after you put it on, but this has nothing like that at all. I have combinatinon skin, so the most important thing I look for in a BB Cream is the fact that it moisturizes, but doesn't make my face look wet. Some people have been complaining about how it makes their face oily, but I get shiny in some areas very easily, and I haven't had problems with this. It definitely doesn't mattify my face, but it doesn't grease it up either. I like how it has a really high SPF value (30) but doesn't have the greasy feel of sunscreen. Overall, it's a really good BB Cream, and the fact that it's 8 dollars (Not 35 like most of the good ones) makes it even more worth it in my mind. I'd definitely repurchase this product.

    Mac Big Bounce Shadow

    Creases HORRIBLY

When I saw this really unique product at my local MAC store, I was really excited to try it out. It's so unique! I absolutely ADORE MAC products, and I had yet to be disappointed with an eye shadow from them, so I picked up a few colors, expecting to be impressed like I usually am. I don't think I've ever seen a product with a similar texture out there, ever. Picture a cream shadow mixed with goo. I know that sounds disgusting, but trust me, it feels really cool. It's like the name suggests, springy and bouncy to the touch. The colors are also absolutely GORGEOUS! They come in a really nice array of colors (well, they were. I'm pretty MAC discontinued these since nobody liked them), and there's something that'll look good on everyone. When you first put on the shadow, it looks AMAZING. The finish is nice and shimmery, and the eye shadow looks really high quality. All of this is extremely deceiving. These also crease in under a minute. I'm not even joking. It's horrible. I tried these first without a primer, and before I finished the rest of my makeup, it was a creased mess! Even WITH a primer (I've tried around three different primers with this eye shadow, one of them being Urban Decay's primer potion), they last 20 minutes tops. I don't have abnormally oily eyelids either. I actually had to throw this away, because I couldn't find a way of making it last more than an hour. Even setting with powder keeps away the creasing for no more than 30 extra minutes. I'd NEVER recommend this to anyone. If these are even still available, and you find yourself tempted to buy one of these, DON'T! They're the WORST cream eye shadows I've ever tried! I'd rather wear no makeup.

  • L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

This is one of the best mascaras I've EVER tried. I had been looking for a good drugstore mascara that compares with Maybelline's the Falsies, and this one is 10 times better, even though Falsies is one of my favorites. It gives you HUGE dramatic lashes, and I've had multiple people ask me if I was wearing false lashes when I've been wearing this. It holds a curl for EVER, too. You get all this amazing volume and length in one coat too! If you put more than two coats, it starts clumping up on you, but thankfully you never really NEED to use that many. I have this in the waterproof formula, and it's not like a lot of other waterproof mascaras I've tried. It doesn't seem stuck on my lashes. I'm still able to gently pull at my lashes and some comes off, which means it's really easy to get off with makeup remover. It's not THE most sturdy mascara, waterproof-wise, but it does the job. If you go swimming with it on, it doesn't hold up that well, but if you're walking in the rain or something like that, it doesn't budge at all! I'd totally repurchase this. I think it's comparable to the original Voluminous mascara, which everyone I've ever met absolutely LOVES.

  • Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara

I got this for 5 dollars (Urban Decay was having an online sale), and since they were selling it for 15 dollars off the normal retail price, I wasn't expecting much. First of all, this is the BIGGEST, most dense mascara wand I've ever seen in my entire life, and that intimidated me at first. The wand itself is actually really use given its size. The mascara itself is pretty good. It's a lightweight, more wet formula, and it REALLY defines your lashes and makes it look like your lashes are amazing naturally. It doesn't clump at ALL, which is another plus. It's extremely easy to get off, but it doesn't flake. As for the volumizing and lengthening factors, it's not the best mascara I've ever tried, but it does give your lashes a pretty, natural looking finish. It doesn't hold a candle to L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black, in terms of drama. It does "fatten" your lashes and make them look longer, but not to the point of looking like you have fake lashes on. The only problem I have with the actual formula is that it doesn't hold a curl at ALL. You have to put the mascara on before you curl it, and that subjects ANY mascara to clumping. It does take awhile to dry, but that doesn't really bother me at all. The packaging is absolutely adorable, and you really do get a lot of product in the tube. I probably won't repurchase this at their retail price, because there are better drugstore mascaras out there, but I do like it and I'll use it up. If you're looking for a less dramatic daytime mascara, this should be good for you.

  • Rimmel London Special Eyes Eye Liner Pencil

I got this in a beautiful navy blue color, and was really excited to try it. I didn't expect it to live up to Urban Decay standards, but Rimmel in general is a good brand, so I decided to give it a try. I honest threw this out after trying to use it a few times. It feels like a colored pencil, it's so hard. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get any color even on your upper lash line because no color will come off of the pencil. It just ended up tugging my eyelids a LOT, and there was hardly ANY color payoff. I feel like this is about the quality of an eyeliner pencil you could get at the Dollar Store. I haven't tried the black, and those usually tend to be a bit creamier, but the one I tried was TERRIBLE. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

  • Fresh Sugar Icon Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15

I have these in both the clear and red tinted colors, and they're one of the best lip balms I've ever tried. It feels SO great on your lips. I hate when you put on a lip balm and it immediately sinks into your lips and makes it feel like you don't have anything on. This lipbalm goes on nice and thick and it makes your lips feel AMAZING. It's one of the richest lip balms I've ever tried on my lips. They're also some of the most moisturizing I've ever tried, too. the only reason this doesn't have 10 stars is the product seems to be a little bit loose in the tube. I have to apply it very slowly or it wiggles back and forth in its base like it's going to break off, which I'm scared its going to do eventually. Probably because the product is so soft and rich that it isn't very durable. The packaging is really cute though, even though the screw on caps aren't the most convenient ever. The red tinted one made me realize that I could actually wear red on my lips. The tint that it gives is visible, but it's not TOO bright. It's right in the middle, and that's what makes it perfect. Many people are talking about how pricey this is, but I can't say anything about that since I got both of mine for free. Sephora was giving them out to people who have August birthdays. I'm pretty sure that deal's still going on if anyone has a birthday this month, so you can save yourself some money that way. I'll probably repurchase these, since even though the tubes are really small, they don't use up very fast. The scent is a really nice Rose scent that I love and isn't overwhelming at all, but the lipbalm has no taste, which I don't really care about. I no longer wear any other lip balm I like these so much!
