There was a scent in the halls of the school where I work which I simply could not ignore. It was like the first time I smelled pure musk on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. I could detect it, but it was so ethereal that I couldn't pin down who was wearing in. Finally I cornered a student by a locker and asked what perfume she was wearing. She told me it was this one. It is a deliciously light, fruity, fresh scent from a blend of jasmine, peony, fresh passion fruit, sweet pineapple, juicy peach, amber, freesia, and light musk. Now I have people running after me, asking if I am wearing a particular scent and anxiously wanting to know what it is. It's the perfect fragrance for the summer season!

Layering fragrances is the best way to get the best wear from them, as long as powders, lotions, and soaps aren't too strong. This is a lighter version of the fragrance, just as feminine and alluring, never overwhelming. The moisture lasts long, as does the aroma.

Estèe Lauder "Beyond Paradise" was voted "Best of Beauty - Scent" by Allure Magazine in October, 2008, with good reason. It is lush yet light, tropical, floral, highly feminine and alluring (no pun intended, truly). Top notes are eden's mist, blue hyacinth, orange flower templar, and jabuticaba fruit; middle notes are laelia orchid, crepe jasmine, mahonia japonica, and pink honeysuckle; base notes are natal plum blossoms, ambrette seed, zebrano wood, and gold melaleuca bark. It is perfect for summer and reminds you of sand and surf. This fragrance is all-woman and I receive a lot of compliments on this.

Beauty Without Cruelty is an amazing line. This toner sells for about $10.00, but the ingredients beat those of most high-end toners. All of their proceeds have far exceeded my expectations, and they are a steal for the quality you purchase! This soothing liquid includes glycerin, aloe vera leaf juice, panthenol, allantoin, cucumber extract, green tea extract, hydrogenated castor oil, and other oils--ylang-ylang, geranium, lavender, and palma rosa. It deep-cleans to remove the last traces of oil and makeup, but it is very tender to skin. It feels and smells wonderful. I keep it in the fridge for an extra treat in the summer!

If I waxed poetic, I would begin with "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways . . . " I've been using this on and off for several years. The only reason that I haven't used it consistently is because I can be fickle and also because I have been asked to critique skin care products for beauty sites and cosmetic companies. I ran across an ad for "Beauty without Cruelty" tonight, and it reminded me how very much I LOVE this product! It is a very light, oil-free gel which I first purchased for my husband when he complained about slight lines around his eyes. It was so easy to use that he didn't complain and stayed with it religiously. We both fell for this product--hard--and I just reordered it. It is completely weightless and dries almost instantly. There is a refreshing feel to it, especially if you store it in the fridge. But the potent ingredients disguise the power of this serum to radically change skin for the better. It is full of glycerin, cucumber and green tree extracts, calendula, soy protein, aloe vera leaf juice, hyaluronic acid(!!!), algin, ginkgo biloba extract, panthenol, and allantoin. My husband's eye lines disappeared within two weeks of using this. I had a few lines when I first tried it and they vanished as well--completely! Realizing that this was no common gel, I began to use it over my entire face and neck for completely revitalized, renewed, smoothed, taut skin. I put it to the worst test one winter when I used it on red, rough, raw hands (cuts and all). It not only healed the skin and turned skin to velvet, but water began to bead on my hands after I washed them. I would give this a hundred stars if I could!

I have so many concealers from so many companies that I could probably pay off our mortgage if I sold them. This is exceptional when it comes to creaseless, ceaseless concealing, even in heat, humidity, and water. It works well under my eyes and doesn't settle into any fine lines. It disguises any blemishes and/or discolorations for endless hours. I highly recommend it!

When I use this, my lashes are more pliable. Micro-fibers and Vitamin E work to increase length and volume--and it works! I love this base and rarely apply mascara without it.

I have just a bit left in my compacts. The shadows are beyond gorgeous, with enough wearable sheen to get attention. Colors are deeply pigmented and can be worn day or night. Having a hard time finding these now, and holding on to old compacts (yes, I know I have to throw them away!).

Revlon's® traditional nail enamel is sublime. After it, their "Colorstay"™ version is a close second. It comes in a wide range of shades, from the pulse-pounding rich copper named "Fall Mood" to the mysterious, shimmering deep green of "Rain Forest" and the come-hither "Blue Slate." I love the nude color which comes with the beautiful array of Revlon® products Total Beauty offers for only $15.00 (what do you MEAN that you haven't bought your set yet?!) to a subtle yet eye-catching hue I bought just tonight, "Rose Beige." It is the perfect shade for when you don't want to change colors. It blends with everything you wear, every mood you experience, and is formulated with resins and polymers to last about eleven days sans chipping, give or take (that's when wearing the base and top coats, as you should anyway). This is glossy, high-powered colored, completely true to its name. Yes, I love OPI, Zoya, and China Glaze, but Revlon has a place in my heart when it comes to nail enamels and cosmetics in general.

This is very long-lasting and is very appealing on my lips. It doesn't dry nearly as badly as Cover Girl's "Outlast." It doesn't moisturize nearly as well as Tarte's "LipSurgence." But for the price, it is a decent stain with staying power and lovely colors.
