    Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner

    My favorite for years

I will try new foundation, new blush, new eyeshadows, mascaras and lipsticks but I will NEVER switch from the Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner. I was sort of surprised to see it on the "Top 17 eyeliners under $10" list only because I've been so loyal to it for so many years that I figured something better had come along by now. But then I thought, "How could it be any better?" I use it in Sueded Brown for its perfectly blendable (thanks to the unique blending tip) and long-lasting wearability.

  • Charles Worthington London Big Hair Full Volume Texturizing Salt Spray

I found a bottle of this stuff on the clearance rack at Rite Aid for 75% off so I figured I had little to lose by trying it. I've been looking for the "beach spray" by that Silk-something company whose name obviously escapes me at the moment, or something similar. This seems to be a pretty close approximation, giving me extra bounce & body but not quite as good as Silk...Infusion? I have Silk Confusion. Sorry.

  • Josie Maran Finger Paints

Although the color seems to fade rather quickly, I love the way these feel on my skin. I use them on my lips, cheeks, and eyes. You can't beat the multi-tasking efficiency this pallette offers. Infused with Argan oil, they go on silky smooth and feel equally as much a treatment as a cosmetic.

    E.L.F. All Over Color Stick

    Great find for the price

I lost my favorite highlighter (LORAC powder in Spotlight) and, not being rich, can't afford to run to the Sephora site every time I need something, so I tried this. I found it at a local Beauty Supply store. For $1.99 each, I got three to play around with. You definitely have to be careful not to overdo this stuff, but it's great for dabbing on the bowline of the lips, the cheekbones, browbones, and just a little at the corner of the eyes. Persimmon is rather bright and pink-y but it works if you're judicious about the application and use a sheer finishing powder over it. I do wish it came in a powder compact, though, like my LORAC.

  • Olay Regenerist Micro-Derm Cleansing Cloths

...theymade my face sting, particularly if i put a moisturizer on after using them. i had to rinse off the residue of the cleansing cloths, which isn't very efficient!

  • Garnier The Brusher Gel Cleanser

...it's hard to get the gel out of the container & onto the brush. It cleanses well and leaves my face feeling invigorated. I like it--i just wish it were easier to get the product out of the container and onto my skin.

  • Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

    Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

    I had doubts, but...

...this stuff actually works very well. I am one of those people to whom biting insects are inexplicably drawn, and in the summer my legs look like i have chicken pox. It doesn't help that i have very fair skin. So, tired of wearing long pants in Virginia humidity in the summer, out of desperation i bought some of this. I was scared that i was going to look like i had makeup on my legs (yes, i did have makeup on my legs but it's not supposed to LOOK like it!) but it actually blended very nicely and evenly and had good coverage. It stayed on and didn't streak. The only problems i have with it are that it is a little pricey given that you don't get that many appliations from one can, the colors are limited, and you have no warning when you're about to run out. Not good when you've already done one leg!

  • La Roche-Posay Active C

My dermatologist gave me a sample of this and I thought it was a prescription at first. It worked so well that i bought a full-sized tube. My doc frequently runs out but i was pleased to find it in one of the newer CVS's.
