I first bought Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara because a friend told me it was the absolute-best mascara for people who wear contact lenses, and the product exceeded my expectations. It's easy to apply, feels very soft on your lashes, and can be applied in both an everyday look and a more long, built-up, voluminous nighttime look. The small brush makes it perfect for those of us who don't have big eyes, and the gentle, no-wax formula makes Clinique Naturally Glossy a cut above most mascaras out there. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good everyday mascara, and I would say Clinque Naturally Glossy Mascara is a must -have in the makeup bag of anyone who's new to wearing contact lenses. The only drawback to this product is that, even though it meets my needs for most nights on the town, it doesn't build as much length as I sometimes want for the fake-lashes look; for this reason, you may want to have a length/volume-boosting mascara on hand for special occasions.

I've used Anew Retroactive Youth Extending Night Cream for about a year now, and I think it's the best, mild night cream for people in their 20's. I noticed a more even skin tone and a complete elimination of dry patches after I started using Anew, and I was impressed by the fact that the product didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. After using the product for a year, I must note that I haven't seen any continual improvements or miracles other than the initial results I experienced when I first started using Anew; it keeps my skin moisturized and even for months on end, though, and there's really nothing more I could ask for in a night cream. If you're approaching 30 or older, you'll probably want to try one of the more intensive Anew products, because I notice that Anew Retroactive doesn't do much to eliminate the several fine lines I have on my face. All in all, this is one of the best skin products out there for 20-somethings!

I'll admit it, Great Lash's pink-and-green tube is cute, and the allure of spending five bucks on a mascara is undeniable, BUT I urge you to avoid these temptations and not waste your money on this product. The mascara takes forever to dry on your lashes, so the application process requires a minute of holding your eyes open and desperately trying not to blink...If your eyes haven't dried out and/or you haven't smeared mascara all over your under eyes by the time this minute is up, all you'll see in the mirror are waxy, clumpy lashes. The lashes feel really hard to the touch and often get crumbly and flaky as the day goes on. If you're looking for an inexpensive drugstore mascara, skip Maybelline Great Lash and buy L'oreal Voluminous mascara instead (it's way easier to apply that Great Lash and feels far more soft on the lashes).

I used Wella Color Charm as a toner to darken my bleached-blonde-and-low-lighted hair and get rid of that yellow hue that seems to creep in about a week after my salon visits,...And, let me tell you, this product worked like a charm! I used 8N (natural blonde), and the resulting color was identical to the hair swatch I saw in Sally's Beauty Supply Store. If you don't have bleached hair like me, you'll probably want to choose a shade 2-3 levels lighter than your desired results; I'd recommend checking out Wella's online Color Charm demi-permanent instructions, or asking someone in the store for help choosing the right level and tone for your hair. This is a great product for blondes who want a damage-free way to blend their roots and tone their hair between salon visits. It's also a great no-commitment way to try out a new hair color to see how you like it. As someone with slightly damaged hair, I was so happy to see that Color Charm left my locks incredibly shiny and soft as though the product had actually nurtured and repaired my hair, so I'd even recommend using the product as a shine booster. To sum up, Color Charm delivers to-die-for shine and color at an unbeatable price...You may even find yourself ditching the salon.
