I don't know why it took me so long to purchase this treasure, but I finally bought it and have been rewarded with compliments ever since. The bronzer is finely milled and long lasting. No worry about your sun-kissed glow fading throughout the day! The moisturizing formula sweeps on a smooth satin glow. No glitter or glitz--just pure, radiant sunshine in a compact. My skin tone is light/medium with warm undertones so the Terracotta in 01 gives me just the right amount of color. Although Guerlain makes other bronzer options from mineral powder to putting on the glitz, I'll stick with the classic for the most natural, complimentary glow.

I have the cream blush in Sunrise and in Sunset and love them both. The cream blush gives a soft, natural veil of color which is suitable for daytime, but a bit too subtle for nighttime drama. Fading can be a problem with such a delicate blush so I lightly dust over my entire face with Guerlain"s Meteorites to set my makeup without detracting from the blush's soft luminescence. A bonus: The blush is natural and organic.

This mascara did a wonderful job of lengthening, thickening, and curling my eyelashes. After applying two light coats, my eyelashes definitely had that "Wow!" factor that lasted throughout the evening. A bonus is that the mascara is easy to remove. I do have one complaint, however. I found the very large brush to be way too cumbersome. When applying the mascara, I had to take extra care to avoid smudges on my lids. In short, the mascara is great, but the brush is not. I solved the problem by using one of my older, smaller brushes. It works just as well with the mascara without the smudges. If not for the poor design of the brush, I would rate the mascara a 10.

The blush in Miel Glace (miel means honey) is a beautiful medium-toned, warm rose-beige that beautifully enhances the cheekbones. It has a soft satin sheen, but is not overtly sparkly. At 60, I'm into luminous; not glittery! I agree with the other reviewer that the tiny brush which is included in the compact is a waste of space. By now, we all know the merits of using a proper blusher brush.

When I first tried this lipstick, I was absolutely taken with the luminosity and beauty of the colors. After trying on a few different shades, I bought a soft rosey beige color which gave my lips a smooth, plump look. I also loved that the sheerness of the color meant that it took its color cue from whatever lip liner I was using. Unfortunately, the lipstick just didn't last very long. In fact, the YSL Gloss Pur (lip gloss) actually lasted longer on me. I had to continuously reapply the lipstick which got old real fast.

I agree with one of the other reviewers that, although a delightful fragrance, the candle just didn't do a very good job of casting it's spell over the room in which I placed it. Perhaps it would be good in a small, intimate space, but my rooms are open and spacious so the aroma just got lost. Too bad because the fragrance is indeed very beautiful.

YSL's Gloss Pur comes in gorgeous colors and can be precisely applied with its small brush applicator--a method I much prefer over the slanted tube tip applicator used by some companies which smears the gloss around on your lips. It is moisturizing, richly pigmented, and lasts about 2 hours on me. It can be applied full force for a striking pop of color, or lightly for a soft wash of color. Either way, it doesn't stain the lips as some glosses do, so reapplication throughout the day is not a problem. Like any gloss, it will wander a bit if you don't use a lipliner, but since there are so many beautiful neutral ones out there, that shouldn't be a problem.

I love YSL's cosmetics and thought I'd give the Golden Gloss a try. I use a neutral lip liner so I didn't have any problems with smudging as some of the other reviewers reported. My only complaint is that once the gloss wore off, I had bits of glitter left on my lips which were far from attractive. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, but unless you're committed to reapplying frequently, you're better off with YSL's Gloss Pur. Because of the glitter factor, I'd suggest he Golden Gloss for evening wear and the Gloss Pur for daily wear. Both glosses last about 2 hours on me.

Although I have a very good complexion and healthy skin, I am 60 and need a bit of extra help smoothing out the texture and tone of my skin. This not only does that beautifully, but it also imparts a soft glow which is an absolute must for women of any age who want to look vibrant without looking shiny. The primer is weightless and comfortable to wear unlike some primers that make you feel like you're wearing a mask. Make up glides on and stays put (I use YSL Perfect Touch Foundation) throughout the day or evening. An extra bonus is that the primer is loaded with skin loving ingredients. I've tried other primers, but this one gave the best finish. On low maintenance days, I use just the primer with a light dusting of Guerlain's Meteorites and my skin looks flawless.
