Okay, so this smells wonderful. "This is the newest version of armani code, sheer's reworked juice features orange blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, lily of the valley and honey." Oh the delight I felt when I first spritzed it on! Oh the sadness when an hour later I couldn't smell ANYTHING at all, even when putting my pulse points directly up to my nose. I thought maybe I'd just gotten used to it so I asked Mister what he thought of it. "I don't smell anything. Oh, wait, is that your shampoo? I think I'm smelling your shampoo. Yep. That's it." So he could smell my shampoo from 12 hours prior better than the perfume I'd been wearing for little over an hour. For $67.00 that's just a little TOO sheer.

It doesn't feel at all chalky on application and goes on light and sheer. I have seen complaints that it's too sheer, but it seems as though those people are confusing it for a foundation. The word veil is meant to imply sheerness, is it not? Because it isn't drying you look fresh much longer and it adds a touch of light reflection to make you look younger and more refreshed. It sits on top of lines instead of settling into and accentuating them. Also great for maturing skin that tends to look older in a matte foundation. You can apply your flaw covering spackle and then put this over it to lessen the mask look.

I LOVE Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic 100% Nontoxic Plant Chemistry Lip Delivery Nutrition (whew! say all that in one breath!). Not waxy and with penetrating moisture. I always like it when I can trust a lip product to be safe since I know I'll wind up eating 5 pounds of it. It has a slight tingly feel reminiscent of Carmex. I keep a tube of this next to the bed for my nightly balm needs. I will never buy a tube of Chapstick again.

Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in Jungle Green really disappointed me. I realize that it's not some pricy brand or anything, but it failed on so many levels I was astounded. It sharpens well, I'll give it that. It went on really blotchy with lots of skips that I had to go back over to fill in. It started to 'seperate' within the hour causing me to have to go back and smudge it a bit to get it to look normal again. It got racoony by the end of the day. Oh, and the Jungle Green should be called '80's I Work At K-Mart Green'. Green doesn't have to be cheesy, but there's something about this particular shade. Sigh.

So many B& BBW scents smell like overly sugary tweens, so I was thrilled to discover this deep, rich scent. Of course the shower gel is super rich and lathery and only takes a tidge on a scrubby, and of course the body cream is rich and luxurious and creamy and quenching. It's Bath & Body Works. But the eau de toilette is the real surprise here. INCREDIBLE staying power and it doesn't get all odd smelling as it progresses through the day. If it smells good on you when you first put it on, it'll still smell good on you hours and hours later. Don't you hate it when a scent smells great at first, but has lower notes that are completely off-kilter from the top note so that halfway through the day you want to scrub yourself? I love how plummy and rich this scent is. I feel like a torte. Another one of those smells that makes me want to chew on my own flesh! While I normally think of Clinique mascaras as on a bit of the skeebly side ( not as in bad quality, but just not mega plumping), this one was really surprising. Clinique High Impact mascara really is what they claim. You get thick lashes with a nice curl, no clumps, and excellent color. With normal wear it doesn't smudge but caveat emptor: it is definitely not waterproof. I had an eye watering moment today and had to do some touching up to rid myself of (minor) raccoon-ness. And it's comparable in price to a drugstore brand!

Pink Parfait is so so so so hydrating and so so so so PINK! My lips look like cute little baby piggies! Okay, so that might be an odd analogy. The pink is such a happy girly pink that it makes the purple and pink clothing just sing!

I've previously shared my heart throbbing for Korres products, but one that I honestly will never ever ever, Scarlett O'Hara "As God is my witness" style, ever be without is Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Make Up Removing Wipes. These things are seriously one of the most miraculous products of all time. They are worth every penny and I will never feel guilty for buying them! Makeup, yeah, I can feel some pangs. ANOTHER new moisturizer when I have 486, yeah. These babies? NEVER! I have used seemingly every face cleansing wipe out there, and I have never seen one good enough to actually use on a daily basis. I would buy them for camping, but they have never seemed to get my face completely clean or come close to removing makeup. These bad boys will remove all of my makeup, including mascara and leave the skin feeling baby booty soft. I do try to use regular face wash, but I keep these by my bed so that if I'm too exhausted to properly wash my face, I can still properly wash my face! I love these for when I'm watching a movie with the husband and I can tell that I very may well fall asleep halfway htrough and want to make sure my face is clean before I do. Seriously, they are AWESOME. Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel
So much better than regular Anti Bac gels!
I am addicted to the Bath & Body Works PocketBac antibacterial gels. They're so wee gumbitty that I can carry one in my purse without it taking up too much room and of course they all smell divine. They make awesome little gift bag items, and you can grab a big variety for next to nothing. I also adore that they are so moisturizing and don't make my skin look like an alligator's the way your standard antibacs do. I've been toting around the Warm Vanilla Sugar because it's the kind of scent that seems to melt into the skin without overpowering my perfume. The only thing I dislike about this scent is that it brings back some ooky sense memories of someone I knew with bad bad BO but slathered on the lotion in this scent making for a potent cocktail indeed!

P.S. I Love You Eau de Toilette is a surprise for me. It's a much more sophisticated scent than I expected. The name and the bottle style had led me to believe that it would be a playful, girly scent- a bit immature but cute.
