Spring Beauty Favorites 2014
from jennawy414's blog
It is finally spring so I decided it was time for another favorites list. Here are all the things I have been loving for the past couple months:
Primer: Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer - At first this product is a little hard to get used to but after you do the staying power is amazing
Foundation: Nars Sheer Glow - No surprise here. This foundation is a cult favorite. Between the wide color selection (Nars finally made a foundation pale enough for me) and beautiful finish, I am yet another lover of this foundation.
Concealer: Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - So creamy and blends amazingly, especially with a beauty blender. I use this practically every day.
Powder: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder - I don't have that big of a problem with large pores but this powder also works well with fine lines. My skin looks air brushed whenever I use this.
Bronzer: LORAC Tantalizer Baked Bronzer - I am usually not a big user of bronzer due to my fair skin but when I got a tan during spring break this bronzer looked absolutely beautiful. It has such a pretty shimmer to it and gives you just the right level of a sun kissed glow.
Highlighter: Benefit Sun Beam - This only really works on my skin when I have a tan but it looked so beautiful when I did. When I'm paler I like to mix it with High Beam. They both create the most beautiful glow.
Blush: Benefit Benetint - I haven't used this product in years but when I rediscovered it I fell right back in love. It gives the most natural flush to the cheeks and stays on forever. I am a huge fan of all the Benefit cheek tints.
Eye Primer: Sigma Eye Shadow Base in Persuade - All of the colors available are gorgeous but persuade is the neutral to put under all eye shadows. It has great staying power and can be used alone for an everyday look.
Eye Shadow: TARTE Be MATTEnificent Palette - This was limited edition so if you got your hands on this be grateful. These eyeshadows have quickly become a staple for my everyday eye look. Plus the blush and two darker shades the come with it are amazing as well. Such a great deal.
Eye Liner: TARTE EmphasEYES Clay Liner - This has been the season of TARTE eye products. This liner is so easy to apply and stays on forever.
Mascara: MAKE UP FOREVER Smoky Extravagant Mascara - This creates the blackest and longest lashses without looking clumpy. I use this for evenings out and special occasions but it could be worn during the day too if you are a lash girl.
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade - I used the same brow product for my entire makeup wearing life until I came across this product. Creates the most perfect brows and stays on through everything.
Lips: MAKE UP FOREVER Rouge Artist Natural in N4 Pink Beige - The perfect everyday color with an amazing texture and great staying power. The pigmentation is also beautiful without being too drying.
This concludes my long list of spring favorites! Thanks for reading
