Product Review - E.L.F. Brushes
I just received the 6 makeup brushes I ordered from ELF for 1 euro each. I expected super bad quality and I was surprised as they turn out to be pretty okay for that price. Of course they are not great and some of the hair falls out (but just the same as any MAC brush does), they probably won't last long but they are more than acceptable for my everyday eye makeup routine, and at this price I can just replace them every few months or so.
I don't recommend the ones for blush & foundation though, as they don't distribute the product evenly enough for a face application. However the medium sized one works fine for contouring and highlighting.
I would NOT use them professionnally, because they don't stick to the pigments very well, they kinda mess out pressed eyeshadows when you dip them in, and some of the powder falls out before it even reaches your skin, but I don't mind using them on myself as I'm confident enough to get a good result even with medium-quality brushes.
WARNING : Even though the website claims the product are cruelty-free, after investigation I found out the brushes are made from natural horse hair. Don't be fooled if you think you are buying vegan.
