Tips for eye make-up removal
Removing eye makeup is a quite a job. Just when you think you've removed all your eye make-up you, you realize you have the dreaded skunk eyes. Plus the area near your eyes is delicate so you need to be extra careful while removing eye makeup. It can cause irritation near your eye, blackening of skin or even worse- WRINKLES!!!!! So, before you use your face cleanser, remove your eye makeup using these simple steps.
Take a cotton ball and apply a few drops of makeup remover. You can also use petroleum jelly or olive oil as they are equally effective.
Close your eye and apply one cotton balls to your lids and lashes. Let it sit for a minute so that it can work its way through the layers of makeup. Work with one eye at a time. After a minute, gently swipe your eye in a downward direction to ensure all the makeup is off.
Then open your eye and wipe off the residual makeup under your lashes.
Tips
Baby oil works wonders. It works better than makeup remover and is a cheaper alternative.
Do not use the same cotton ball for both eyes. If you have an infection in one eye it will quickly pass on to the other.
