CND Shellac -- We Tried It, Will You?

A free spa pedi? Yes, please!

Fellow editor Jane and I got the chance to go to CND's Shellac event to get a Shellac SpaPedicure. Amazing? Absolutely. 

We got to choose between two different scrubs ("marine" and "earth" -- I went the earthy route) and an application of the unique CND Shellac polish. 

They have so many pretty colors, so I had a difficult time choosing but I finally went with Tropics, a coraly orange that is perfectly on trend, while Jane chose a Barbie pink color called Gotcha.

In case you haven't heard, Shellac is a professionally done polish that stays on for two weeks without the damage that gel polishes and acrylics often leave behind. Using ultraviolet lights, there's a base coat, two coats of the color, then a top coat, and the polish dries instantly. For two weeks, a Shellac pedicure is guaranteed to be chip- and scuff-proof. Sounds too good to be true, eh? We thought so, too. 

So far, it's been four days. I went to a bachelorette party and wore heels of all shapes and sizes, but the polish is still lasting.
