Beauty for a buck?

Beauty for a dollar.  Can it be?  Is it true?  Well, maybe to a certain degree.  E.L.F has some retty good products out there for a $1- $5.  I've tried several of their products and have a short list of do's and don'ts

DO

Eyeshadows-  Their shades are true to color and last.  I put some on when I went out dancing and it didn't fade.

Lip Gloss-      For a dollar it comes in handy.  They don't have too many shades and they all have the same flavor but  again, it's only a dollar.

Brushes-       Wow what a bargain.  From $1-5 dollars you can purchase these brushes and they work.  I've had mine for about 6 months and have tested the time after use and cleaning.  Definately worth it.

DON'T

Mascara-       This was not a wise purchase.  I was experimenting and trying the E.L.F line out to see what I'd like.  The mascara is cakey and makes my lashes feel heavy and when you are looking at someone or something the last thing you want to see is your lashes peeking out on top.  It also dries out easily.

Pressed Powder- Again, tying the line out, I made this purchase to see what it was like.  I have combination skin and this product was not good for my skin.  Others may have luck with E.L.F's pressed powder but if you have combo skin like me, I'd pass this deal up.
