Not for oily skin....
I had high hopes for this because so many people rave about this and so I decided to get a sample from Sephora so I wouldn't have to splurge on this product. I don't see how this keeps my oil at bay. It has light reflecting particles in it that doesn't make me look shiny but I have super oily skin so it did very little to make me less oily. This might be better during the winter time because it do...read moreesn't make my skin matte at all. It's just like dusting powder on top but really didn't set my makeup well at all either. My foundation underneath was still pretty tacky to the touch with this on. I really couldn't tell a difference with this powder except I noticed that it gave my skin a smooth finish but compared to my ELF HD powder, it didn't even blur my pores as well as that one. Keeps your shine at bay
Sometimes I'm really lazy and I just dab a little concealer and use this Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and I'm all set! Keeps my oil at bay. No shine. Just nice finish and you don't feel it. I learned about this from my make-up artist who did my make-up on my wedding day. Beautiful, sheer powder for natural look
