We can't get enough of our fave celebrities' hairstyles here at TotalBeauty.com, so we decided that today we're going to show you some of our latest favorite styles. Check in every hour to see a new celebrity style we'll be copying this season.

I'm kicking off the day by showing off two photos of Gwyneth Paltrow. She's definitely an inspiration when it comes to style, hair and makeup for me. When she recently lopped off her long hair, I did too. Silly, I know, but I was ready for the change and she confirmed that it was time for me to let my long hair go. Though I did leave mine a bit longer than hers. Either way, Gwyneth is more gorgeous than ever and I love her new-ish short cut, straight and curly.

I go to a pro to get highlights in my naturally mousey blonde hair and always have. I have never trusted myself enough to do color at home. But we recently shot a how-to video on creating highlights in dark hair (much trickier than in light hair) using a box hair color. I was beyond impressed with the results our expert was able to achieve (yes, we used an expert to apply the color while showing all of us at home how to do it -- but he did use a L'Oreal box hair color). You must see the Create Gorgeous Highlights at Home video and if you use any of these suggestions let me know. I'm so tempted to try doing my own highlights now. What do you think? Good idea? Bad? Lancome's fall collection hits stores this month and I was lucky enough to score the gorgeous Poudre Elephant Teint (see photo above). It's a shimmery powder bronzer that has an elephant emblazoned on it. I love these gorgeous compacts, but I always feel bad about using them -- it always mucks up the pretty design in the powder. Well, I bit the bullet and decided to give it a swirl and dust it on my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. It gave my fair skin a toasty golden glow, but do watch out for the red blanket area -- it is highly pigmented and will give you more of a sunburn effect -- ouch!

The 15 Minute Beauty Fanatic blog recently posted about makeup artist Molly Stern's favorite brushes for every part of your face. It's a great read if you've ever hesitated before reaching for a brush, wondering if you're using the right one (something I still do occasionally). Stern talks about them in terms of Shu Uemura brush numbers, but you can easily use that as a reference and buy the same shapes from other brands. Check it out.

Have you seen Eva Longoria Parker's cropped cut? She debuted it on July 21 at the announcements of the ALMA Awards nominees. It's a great take on the bob haircut that's been sweeping Hollywood. With the deep side part and side-swept bangs she still stands out among the Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham look-alikes. What do you think of the new look? Dry, itchy scalp can be caused by a myriad of things, but I've noticed that the latest hair powder I've been using, Stila Jade Blossom Hair Refresher, may be a culprit. While it smells amazing, it tends to leave me with dry scalp after repeated use. (I use it about two or three times a week.) If you have this problem, I've discovered some solutions:
