Tips to Look Sexier -- Who Couldn't Use That?
- Posted by Sarah on April 29, 2009 at 05:04PM

They say (well, at least I say) that 40 is the new 30 and 50 is the new 40 -- these celebrities certainly prove my point. So does our makeover of 50-year-old Kim, she turned out smokin' hot. Good thing, since she's working the Internet dating scene. Could your match.com profile use a boost too? Then check out these tips for looking sexy beyond 40.
Think Wet n Wild Is Just for Tweens with Allowance Money? Think Again.

You may skip right past the Wet n Wild section at the drugstore (maybe you were buying these other top products instead?), but it's time to take a second glance. Look past the slightly cheesy packaging and you'll find some high-quality products that cost next-to-nothing. Don't believe me? Check out these reader reviews. While there are a few Wet n Wild goodies to steer clear of, there are plenty they're loving:
Retro celebrity hairstyles: the good, the bad, the ugly
- Posted by Kristen on April 27, 2009 at 06:42PM

Celebs are constantly experimenting with new hairstyles (remember when this braided thingy was the trend?), well lately they've been rockin' these retro hairstyles. Some are pretty gorgeous, but as we know, not all experiments end well. Remember the time you put foil in the microwave? Disaster. Well, so are some of these hairstyles -- though thankfully they're not as bad as these doozies.
Are these Dangerous Ingredients in Your Makeup? Yep.

I'm not very good with reading labels. I've never been one of those gals who can rattle off the calorie count of my favorite snack or even remember what the active ingredients are in my moisturizer. But after reading this article, I'm definitely going to take a second look at the labels of all my products.
The Top 11 Best-Hair Cities
- Posted by Sarah on April 23, 2009 at 02:58PM

I thought the reason my hair was lookin' good today might have to do with this new gel I'm trying -- but actually, I owe a thanks to my hometown. Why? Because it's on this list of the top 11 best-hair cities (thank goodness I don't live in one of these worst-hair cities, my apologies if you do).
Our Beauty Advice for Internet Sensation Susan Boyle
- Posted by Kristen on April 16, 2009 at 04:46PM

You've probably seen the video -- Susan Boyle shocks the judges and the world on "Britain's Got Talent" with an amazing rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. Why so shocked? The truth? Because of her looks, ohhhh, and the wacky personal 411 she shared before taking the stage (like, I'm 40-something and never been kissed). So what's a star-in-the-making to do? Start with expert beauty tips. If Miss Boyle follows these mini makeover suggestions, she's sure to wow everyone -- even before singing a note.
"Eye-vertising": Have They Gone Too Far?
- Posted by Sarah on April 22, 2009 at 04:07PM

I've learned to live with the overt product placement in most TV shows and movies these days (remember the McFlurry espisode of 30 Rock?), but this is just too much. To promote the release of the Twilight DVD in Britain, there will be (presumably hot) guys walking around wearing gold-colored contacts that read "Twilight DVD" when you look closely.
Extensions for Horses? I Don't Know, Wilbur
- Posted by Sarah on April 21, 2009 at 04:41PM

Have you guys seen this? A British photographer did a photo shoot and gave horses elaborate hair extensions -- and now they're an Internet sensation. I've got to say, the final 'dos are pretty stunning, but it’s still odd to see bangs on a horse (bangs on these celebs though, look great). What do you think? Is this a new trend? Hairstyles for pets? Maybe highlights for dogs will be next.
