  • Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick

I loveee this lipcolor. I have really dry lips in the winter time and this does what it says! My lips feel more moisturized after each use. I have the colors Dreamy ($8 at CVS), Rose Passion ($2 on clearance at CVS), Coral Shimmer ($5 at Target) and Pink Chic ($5 at Target). It's obviously cheaper at Target. It also goes at Ulta for $5.49 I believe. When you look on the Rimmel site, they don't have the last three colors I listed. Because their colors come and go so frequently, they're frequently on sale. So keep you eye out! They smell fantastic and I'm just in love with the fact that they have SPF 18. I'm a huge SPF junkie so it's great that I have a lipstick that protects AND moisturizes. My new favorite lipstick! It also has realllly cute packaging!

    Garnier HerbaShine Color Creme

    565, medium auburn brown

About a month ago I used shade 565. I have naturally medium brown with red and blonde highlights. But at the time that I dyed it, it was a black brown. My hair normally doesn't take well to color; my stylist has to leave color on 10 to 20 minutes longer than usual. On that note, my hair picked up the reddish tones beautifully. Obviously because my hair was on the darker side at the time, it wasn't that medium auburn brown that the box says. But I had a nice hint of red that I've seen called a "cola red". My hair felt FABULOUS. And there are a lot of coupons circulating around for this that can get the price down to 5 or 6 dollars, relatively cheap. It also lasted fairly long. I will definitely go back to this brand. The only problem is that it doesn't rinse out very well, extremely labor intensive if you're using it yourself. I suggest having a buddy to this for you.

  • L'Oreal Paris Magic Smooth Souffle

This foundation has a great texture. It dries into a powder form relatively quickly. That's why I definitely recommend using this with a brush and NOT your fingers. It can great streaky/cakey if you use just your fingers. The price is relatively fair. The packaging is great. Most drugstore brands don't use such heavy duty things like glass. It does run a tad light. I'm usually the lightest color; I have it in Classic Ivory and it's a couple shades too light for me. If blended properly, however, it's easy to overcome that. Other than that, best drugstore foundation I've used so far.

  • TRESemme Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo

Seriously? This is the worst product I've ever used for my hair. My hair feels dirtier after I've used this. The smell is somewhat obnoxious. And it's by no means cheap for a product that barely makes a difference or doesn't do anything at all. The process to use this is also really tedious. Awful, awful product. I've even used it on my best friend and sister so I know that it's not anything to do with my hair texture.

  • Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I love the way this makes my skin feel. I have dry skin but it can easily be irritated but this gel based moisturizer is perfect. It is extremely expensive in my opinion (I currently am using Naruko Lavender Night Jelly for $20 and its a great dupe) but if you don't mind the price tag, this is great for easily irritated or oily skin.

Pain that's totally not worth it...

I literally just used one of these. It smells good, but didn't do anything. Not to mention that it's a) relatively expensive and b) extremely painful. Definitely not going to repurchase this.

    Covergirl LashBlast Luxe Mascara

    Unsure about this...

I got this in the darkest black color. It didn't do anything extraordinarily out of the norm for my lashes. I honestly really didn't see much of a shimmer except when I removed it and looked closely on my cleansing pad. I found the packaging to be a little irritating. It's big and bulky, just like the other lash blast products. I ended up just using it on my mom when she wanted to go out one night, and tossed it after that. There have been better.

  • CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain

I probably can't give the most accurate review on this, as it dried out after my second use. And the lid was snugly on and everything. Miserable. I picked up the lightest pink color and it was a really weird shade that didn't look good on my skin. It was also really streaky and drying. Not worth the money. I'm glad I was able to get the double set on clearance at target for 3 dollars because I didn't feel bad about throwing away mine, and pawned the other off on my friend who isn't very experienced with makeup, and so wouldn't be very disappointed.

  • CoverGirl SmokyShadowBlast

I hated this. The sticks broke off the first time I used it and I was being really gentle. I don't remember how much I paid for this but it obviously wasn't worth it. I had two shades, the grey and purple and the brown and pink. The colors of the grey and purple were really pretty but the consistency was off so it didn't apply smoothly, but instead patchy and greasy. It also didn't last more than about an hour. The pink and brown looked hideous on my skin so I didn't even try to wear it out. The pink stick broke on that as well. Great idea, really poor execution. Avoid this at all costs. I wish I could give lower than one star

  • Redken Extreme Shampoo

    Redken Extreme Shampoo

    Not what I was expecting...

I bought this after much thought at a Hair Cuttery near me. They were having a deal for the 2 liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner for $30. Not bad when the smaller bottles go for over $15 each at most places. I have long, dry, color and heat damaged hair. I was wanting something that would make my hair look and feel better.... This isn't it. I've used each several times and my hair is left dry and frizzy. The ends don't look or feel any better and in order for my hair to feel close to normal, I have to apply the Redken Extreme Anti-Snap at least 3-4 times a day. Not worth the money in my opinion. I'm surprised at how many people have had good experiences with this. Now I'm stuck with too big bottles of product I hate: one of the only times value packages have been a bad thing.
