I am African-American with long, relaxed coarse hair and was looking for a very moisturizing conditioner. This isn't it. I think that it should be renamed Super Thick conditioner. It is thick, which I think is misleading. I did not find it to be any more emollient than other, less expensive conditioners. I will not be buying this again.

I am African- American with relaxed, long, coarse hair. I use this product after shampooing and conditioning on soaking wet hair before roller setting. My hair comes out glossy with very defined curls. I have bought this product over and over again because it is superior to other styling cremes I have used. The reason I gave it a 9 is that there is nothing quick about this product. I have to thorougly dry my hair under a hooded dryer (over an hour) to get good results. It does not help my hair to dry faster. All of MJ products are also very expensive, including this one. In this case, you get what you pay for. As a comparison, this products works better for me than the Wen styling creme and that is pretty good!

I am African American with long, coarse hair. I used this conditioner hoping for a superior moisturizing treatment, since it is sooo expensive. I was disappointed. It is truly no better than other conditioners and the bubble gum scent is more suitable for children's products than a conditioner for adults. The Rapid Recovery Treatment is sooo much better than this. Not sure why MJ needs this product in its lineup. I'm glad that I only bought the 2 oz. size to try it out. I would not purchase this again.

I am African American with long coarse hair. I have recently started a new regimen of alternating protein treatments with moisturizing treatments on a weekly basis. For the moisturizing weeks, I wash my hair with MJ's Super Slip shampoo and follow with this conditioner. I apply a generous amount and sit under a hooded dryer with a plastic cap for 30 minutes. My hair is softer and silkier than you can imagine. It is definitely a superior moisturizer! Unfortunately though, when I run out, I probably won't buy it again, because it is waaaay too expensive. I think that I will be able to get great results with other conditioners, as long as I use the extra step of adding heat.
