I haven't used many RIMMEL products before but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this drugstore mascara. I have "barely there" lasshes (I'm part Asian - they're straight and thin). I love the plastic tiny bristle brush and the deep black of the KOHL colored mascara. It makes my lashes long and noticeable. Plus the tube is cute!

At first when I used this cream-gel on my hair and let it air dry I was really disappointed. I couldn't run my fingers through it and it wasn't silky smooth as I'd hoped. THEN I tried it again and blow dried it. It worked! It made my hair look healthy and shiny and, best of all, it calmed down my prone-to-frizz hair. A great drug store buy that I prefer over many of the salon quality products I buy.

This DEFINITELY makes a difference in the staying power of your eye shadow! I tend to have slick lids and this stuff keeps my shadow on all day. Great if you know you're going to be out in the sun (sweating) or out all night. My only issue is I have the feeling there's more of this potion left in the bottle and my wand just can't get to it.

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 - Normal
A true beauty bargain!
This has been a staple of mine since I was a teen. I love the way it makes my face feel quenched. It has a perfect light consistency with no greasy feel and no strong fragrance. I use it under my makeup every morning, and it absorbs into my skin perfectly, all that and throw in SPF --a perfect product.

After hearing rave reviews I had to find out for myself... It's worth it! Makes my hair silky soft; it's great before blow drying. My supply even lasts long since you don't have to use much. Tips: you can find this bottled miracle at Costco. Also, using too much will make your hair greasy and limp so start with a very small amount and, any excess can be rubbed into your skin!

The packaging said it could be used as a base or a shadow and that it cooled and would not crease. Great! In theory, anyway. The tint did have a nice cooling effect (takes a few minutes before you feel it) but that was about it. It committed the ultimate shadow crime and created a defined crease on my lid. Shame on you, Neutrogena for false advertising!

This cream feels like glorious indulgence. It goes on smoothly and only takes a little bit to cover my face and neck. It makes my face glow and feels like it's really penetrating to work it's magic. Too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis but I gladly accept it as a gift!

Usually, I love Benefit product. I bought a set of their makeup and was able to try this "gem". Egads! Pulling the wand out of the tube was like pulling a stick out of mud. Each use proved to be a thick clumpy mess. I thought, perhaps, the set was old by the looks of this goo.

I've tried many eye creams for the extra-thin skinned area beneath my peepers; this one is awesome! I love the pearly look and silky feel of the cream. It instantly brightens the undereye area and has no greasiness whatsoever. I use it in the day before applying makeup and at night to give my skin a treat. It lasts more than a month - that's less than a dollar a day, if you look at the cost that way.

A high impact shadow conveniently packaged in a flip top case. I always thought that I just didn't know how to apply shadow correctly and that was the reason it always appeared so sheer and haphapzard on my lids. But NO! Eye shadows are not created equal. A quality one, like this here, will give you plenty of bang for your stroke. Love that there are different formulas to choose from: matte, frost, etc. And once you accumulate 6 empty containers, MAC recycles them and gives you a free lipstick. POW!
