Lancome Cils Booster Mascara Enhancing Base

OMG, where would I be without you!

I have never reallie bought this product first of....I've just always gotten lucky to constantly get it as a sample, but GOSH, I would buy it at a heartbeat! The product works as a primer as all you know, so if you don't have a curler or you misplaced it, NO WORRIES! This product separates each lash and BOOM, gives one the volume that all us ladies crave for! And for you ladies that might be scared cuz of the white formula, don't worry! It applies clear, so yeah! The price, it's expected from Lancome.......but gosh darn it's SO good! So maybe utilise it more or special occasions or just look out for it when it's offered as a sample (esp. at Sephora if you sign up for their bonus programme)

  • L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Washable Bold Eye Mascara

So, I tried this product cuz I wanted to see if I could possibly replace ONE of my products with a drugstore brand.....CLOSE, but no dice! Anywho, I bought blackest black, and WOW, great colour pay-off! It glided on well for the first few times, length and volume was there! BUT, the problem was even if I was trying to apply my FIRST coat, I got clumping (and yes, I know to wiggle it from the base of my lashes upward and I don;t PUMP my stuff) So i had to go in with my Lancome Defincils brush to fix that (BTW, my FAV mascara.....haven't tried DiorShow so that might change....^-^) So I might continue to buy this just cuz it does give such great colour pay-off, length, and volume to lashes.....but I will always have my brow brush just in case....:)

  • Givenchy Mister Mat Matifying Powder Gel

Givenchy Mister Mat Matifying Powder Gel

Great as a SAMPLE, but I don't know about purchasing it....

I LIVE by Mac's Prep + Prime, so I kind of felt like I was cheating on it when I got this as a sample...but anywho! LOL, so first of all I LOVE the scent that it gave off, kind of like a perfume-ish smell, nothing I have smelled before, but not like I've smelled THAT many perfumes! The squeeze tube-ish packaging is one of my favs, cuz I can be sure that I can get ALL the product (one of the downsides of my prep-prime, maybe that's the extra 8 9 bucks?) Anywho, the application is great, and it really works well to prime your skin and make your face feel like a baby's bottom! Skin problems.....I could see why some people might react to it (the fragrance possibly) but pour moi, I didn't have a problem......UNTIL I saw the price, which was 30 a pop! Add the size of the product, I don't think I will be leaving my Prep+Prime anytime soon ^-^

  • Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss

Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss

The FUNNIEST packaging.....and the product??? Oh yeah....lolz

So NOO, the packaging was not the thing that drew me to this product, but it was actually the very nude and natural colour that they offered (Kirk I think it' called; YES, each one has a guy's name on it!) The smell is really good, unless you have something against creme brulee; if you do, then we CANNOT be friends :-P anywho, The texture gildes so well on your lips and it lasts! I have used the lip glasses from MAC, but I find that it has a tendency to clump on my lips.....! I think I would use the other colours more for if I were going out, but overall I was satisfied with it (did i tell you the product says it has pheromones in it and if you rub the Rocket lol!)

    Clinique All About Lips

    Good....but some tweaks......

I bought this cuz like most of you ladies, I had problems with flaking, feathering, and drying of my lips.....ugggh! ^_^ So I purchased this from Sephora, and I really liked the product! But, for that price, I expect a lot from it, not just the product! I don't know if I just got a stupid defective, but the pump was stubborn at times. When the product didn't come out, I ended up having to use my lip brush to get product out....(same reason I changed from UDPP to Too Faced Shadow Insurance, BUT that's a different story!) SO yeah, great product.....but the packaging could be better for a 20 dollar product....lolz

  • Too Faced Lash Injection
    5.0

    Too Faced Lash Injection

I have used WAY better in this price range!

Well, like many of you, I chose to try Lash Injection because it was one of the editor's picks......and at the time the rating was pretty high for it! So, I went down to my Ulta to buy it......that was more or less 2 months ago! At first, it did plump my eyelashes and gave me that volume that I desired, but here were, in my opinion the downfalls 1) Since the brush is really large and fat, it was easy for the product to clump up as I applied 2) the avg. lifetime of a mascara is 3 months, but this one barely got to two (yes, I DID close it tightly and I DIDN'T pump my mascara) 3) In comparison to the other mascaras that I have used, the smell of the product is kind of.....strange! Overall, for this price, I would have rather tried DiorShow or one of Mac's Mascaras.
