    Revlon Nail Enamel

    Okay nail polish

This is a pretty good nail polish. I have one of their "metallic" series polish- gold coin. It's a very pretty color, especially for summer. It dries relatively fast, and doesn't chip or peel. However, that doesn't so much apply to enamels- pretty colors, but really bad staying ability. Wears off and stars peeling regardless of base coats or top coats. Mostly ok for pedicure, stays better on toes.

  • Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

I love this tinted moisturizer. It is extremely comfortable to wear, I don't feel it on my face at all unlike many other tinted moisturizers and foundations. It is perfect for dry, normal or combination skin. Of course, you are not going to get a lot of coverage, so if you really need it, this is not the right product. To me it is great, as it covers and blurrs minor imperfections well, leaving skin looking fresh, natural and slightly dewy (not greay at all). This is ideal for every day use, my skin loves it, and looks great, hence it is worth the price. If I get a blemish, which is extremely rare now with this moisturizer, or some serious dark circles, I just go in with a bit of Secret Camouflage, sometimes a tiny bit of powder to set if I'm feeling oilier, and, bam! Perfect skin ALL day, even in summer. Travel size one (1oz lasts me at least 4 months). Plus, it has good range of colors to choose from.

    Nature Made Glow

Good product for now and then skin+ hair boost

I got these vitamins from TotalBeauty to test and review. They happened to arrive at the point in time when my skin was going through a tough patch right after I experimented with some skincare+ had a lot of stress, so I had flakes, tightness, and my hair was falling out a bit too much. After taking the vitamins for 2 weeks, my skin definitely looks a lot better, although I can't say it is only due to the vitamins, of course, took some external love and care. What is most noticeable and most likely connected with the vitamins is that my hair stopped falling out, and the nails look good. You do get a good dose of Biotin in this supplement among other things. I didn't get any unpleasant side-effects with digestion and didn't get any breakouts. The vitamins come in a nice container, and you get 50 softgels, which will last you 25 days. I saw some reviewers saying that it isn't much, but I'd say it is enough for a time to time boost. Not sure it is a good idea to take this supplement for a prolonged period of time since it has a pretty high amount of non-water-soluble vitamin E, I personally tend to be cautious with such things. I don't think the supplement is enough to give you beautiful and moisturized skin, you still need to take care of it externally, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. In my case, the combo of skincare+ Nature Made Glow fixed my peeling and tight skin in a matter of days to the point where I haven't been wearing foundation, because skin looks too nice to be covered up. Very balanced- no dryness, no oiliness, pure perfection. Good product, presented nicely, my only complaint would be is that if you buy it, it is a bit on a pricey side.

  • Shu Uemura Straightforward Time-Saving Blow Dry Oil Spray

Shu Uemura Straightforward Time-Saving Blow Dry Oil Spray

overpriced, not much improvement in hair

The oil is not bad, but not that great either. Not worth the money. I'm really shocked to read reviews saying it cuts drying time... Maybe on super-dry thin hair? I have long thick hair, and there has been no improvements in time I spend blowdrying my hair. The oil smells pretty nice, and moisturizes a little, but nothing outstanding. Also, I'm not quite sure about this spray form- can be hard to get it exactly where you want and get the right amount. I don't want to say it is a bad product, but for what you pay, you get very little result and very little product. Kérastase Nutritive Sérum Oléo-Relax does a much better job of moisturizing, protecting, making hair very soft and shiny, and lasts much longer for the same price.

  • Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage

This concealer is great. I think people who say it is cakey and too dry aren't using it right. You need just a tiny bit (less is more) and you need to let it melt on your finger or back of your hand if you are using a brush before you apply to the problem spot. If you are really dry, add a drop of your favorite moisturizer or foundation. My skin is on a dry side with oilier T-zone, and it looks incredibly natural and flawless wherever I apply it. I know many say it is not good for under-eye area, I actually love to use it for covering under-eye circles, because it covers so well, even deep shadows, lasts all day even without setting, and is virtually undetectable. Doesn't cake or crease at all on me, but again have to use it right. I moisturize my skin before makeup, use LM tinted moisturizer, take a tiny bit of the peachier shade, soften it with my fingers, apply only to the dark area- very thin layer is enough, and then go in the same way with the regular shade. Looks like bare skin, just without the darkness or redness, whatever it is you are covering. It is expensive, but you need so little and get such beautiful results, that it is worth every penny. SC3 is a very good neutral color for light-medium skin (I use LM TInted Moisturizer in Nude). Took one star off only because it is a fairly expensive product.

L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Power Moisture Moisture Rush Mask

Fantastic mask. Luxury product for drugstore price.

This is just like Kerastase! I am very surprise to see such a bad review for this mask, maybe they didn't rinse it out well or the formula got updated? I LOVE this mask! It is the best drugstore mask I have tried, and it is very much comparable to Kerastase Nutritive Masquintense, except it is 1/10th of the price. It isn't too thick and sinks right into hair. I use it once a week, and it leaves my hair super soft, super moisturized, shiny without any weighing it down. The mask also has very pleasant, light scent. I have long hair that is medium thickness, Will definitely repurchase, and highly recommend this mask. Shampoos are lovely in this line too.

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm

Good, but not the best drugstore mask

This mask smells nice, and does make hair a bit softer and a bit more moisturized, but it is not something spectacular. The same Advanced Haircare from L'oreal has a better option- Advanced Haircare Power Moisture Rush Mask. Than one really makes hair soft and silky. Will not repurchase.

    Great light hairspray

I got this hairspray from Totalbeauty to review. I'm very picky when it comes to hairsprays. This hairspray is pretty nice. I like that it feels light and doesn't make hair stiff or "crunchy", it also doesn't make hair frizzy or dirty. I'd say this is light to medium hold, and can be used before or after blowdrying. One of the things that I liked the most is that the scent is light, and doesn't linger on hair, so there is no issue of overlapping with whatever perfume you wear. Also, it is easy to run a brush through hair after using this spray. They only problem I found with this is the sprayer- it sort of spits the product every now and then, and I prefer finer mist. If someone from Sebastian is reading this, I'd suggest they try a better nozzle. Overall, a very nice hairspray if you like natural-looking hairstyles, flexible hold, and light smells. Heat protection is certainly a nice bonus too.

  • Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser

I got this after reading all the great reviews, and wanted sooo bad to like it. To me this is a greasy stinky mess of a cleanser. It removes makeup ok, but makes my skin itchy and red while doing that. Any other cleanser or makeup remover does the job much better. You definitely have to wash the face with a regular cleanser to get rid of the greasy feel (why add an extra step if you still need to wash the face?), and that horrible smell just lingers for hours. I wanted to like this, tried so hard, but this is just horrible. Even good old coconut oil works much better,

  • RapidLash Eyelash and Eyebrow Enhancing Serum

I definitely takes more than 4-6 weeks to see any difference in the density and length of the lashes, but it does work. It is not going to make as much difference as Latisse, but then you also don't get a ton of long-term changes to your eyes and side effects the active ingredient bimatoprost can cause. I got Rapidlash as part of total beauty collection, so it was a good deal, but if you are buying it separately, it is a tad overpriced. I'm not quite sure I'll repurchase, as I have decent lashes to begin with, but at the same time it is nice to have them longer and thicker. The tube lasts for several months for sure. It is super easy to apply it with that little brush. Overall, a pretty good product.
