  • Neutrogena Healthy Skin Eye Cream

I've been using this eye cream for a while now and I think it doesn't deserve the title of a "cream". I find that it's not very moisturizing and I have not seen any results. I still have fine lines (that are becoming not-so-fine lines) under my eyes (not to mention dark circles, but that's a different story). I am definitely not purchasing this again, but I'm glad it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Clean & Clear Daily Pore Cooling Toner

Great Toner for a Great Price

Who needs to dish out the big bucks for something that might or might not work when you can pay a little to get Clean & Clear's Daily Pore Cooling Toner. It takes off everything that your facial cleanser doesn't remove and more. It's somewhat cooling because of the alcohol. But don't be fooled, it doesn't burn either like some astringents do. It's definitely worth the money.

Sonia Kashuk Tools Baby Blush Brush

    Great Brush.. at first

This was my first makeup brush that didn't come as part of the packaging for a makeup product. At first it was my perfect, everything brush! I used it with all my mineral makeup samples because the brush was small enough to swirl in the sample lids. But after a few months, it started to become rough and shed everywhere. Eventually, I had to buy new brushes to replace this one and I threw it away because it lost about half the bristles and was rough on my acne prone skin.

  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
    5.0

MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

    An OK Heavy Coverage Foundation

I used this about two years ago when I started getting into MAC's makeup line. It was definitely better than the drugstore foundations that I used before MAC, but the finish was very "cakey" and heavy. I still had oiliness in my t-zone and my acne still showed through. At the time, my acne was very spontaneous and occurred very often so I couldn't tell if it was the MAC or just my hormones acting up, but I can definitely say that MAC Studio Fix Fluid didn't help either. I will definitely not purchase this again. I'll still with my mineral makeup instead.

  • Mario Badescu Ceramide Eye Gel

    Mario Badescu Ceramide Eye Gel

    Great Product From Mario Badescu!

At first, I wasn't fond of this gel because it's a gel. I've always had this conception that gels aren't very moisturizing but I was wrong. This eye gel is at least 3 times more moisturizing than my old eye "cream." I'm not sure if it's improving my fine lines yet since I can still see them but it has only been two weeks since I started using this. I want to say that there's a slight improvement but I can't be sure. As for puffiness, I'm not sure since I haven't noticed any puffiness around my eyes, but then again, I wear glasses so I wake up and can't see a thing in the mornings. Lol. All in all, this is a great moisturizing eye gel. Definitely worth a try.

    Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Smooth

    Best Drugstore Hair Treatment

I absolutely love this conditioner! About two years ago, I bleached my hair (I have black hair so my friend and I left the bleach in for 3 or 4 hours!), used those temporary dyes about 6 times (several different colors), and dyed it back to black twice. My hair was so fried and damaged that I thought I could never save it. I started using this stuff on a daily basis and my hair became so soft and manageable! Even though I use this stuff about twice a week now, my hair still feel soft and manageable! It worked miracles for me and cost me a small price too!

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 15

My boyfriend bought this for me a week ago and I'm loving it. It's moisturizing, which is great since I hate to dehydrate my skin, yet it doesn't make me greasy all over. It's oil-free so it won't clog my pores and cause my acne-prone skin to become worse. It also has SPF so I don't need to add that extra step of applying sunblock to my face every morning. Just as a sidenote: this moisturizer feels almost like a thin sunblock.

  • Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

    Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

    Makes a Wonderful Night Cream

I have oily/combo skin but I like to cherish my oily skin since I've heard that those with oily skin will age slower. Since my makeup probably takes the oil from my skin during the day, I like to replenish my skin with this. It works very well and doesn't clog my acne-prone skin. I absolutely love it. And it's wallet-friendly! Also, there's no false promises of looking 10 years younger or waking up acne-free. It's just a basic face cream that moisturizes the skin (which it does very well).

  • Clearasil StayClear Daily Face Wash

I'm not a big fan of fancy cleansers that promise miracles (i.e. clears acne in 3 days, brighter skin, etc). I like basic cleansers that just take off my makeup, "dirt", and whatnot. That's what I like about Clearasil's Deep Cleanse Daily Face Wash. It'll wash off my makeup, excess oil, "dirt", etc. yet my skin isn't stripped of all the natural oils. Also, for some odd reason, my acne improved during the time I've used this cleanser.

  • Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel

I've tried many facial scrubs in my life and all of them were either too harsh or so gentle that there was no results at all. The Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel is 100 times better than any facial scrub I've ever used! It's gentle and has smooth microbeads yet it's highly effective. With one use, I could feel how soft my skin had become. After weeks of regular use, I noticed that I did improve my acne and the overall appearance of my skin! It's definitely worth the $12.
