this mascara did not illuminate my blue eyes--if anything the illuminator part makes your lashes look shorter with dust on the ends--the black goes on smoothly and fully covers each lash to give you a nice lush look. I would not buy this again or can recommend it---I have a strong feeling it will be discontinued.

this is just the lashblast in different colors--I used the blue for daywear and found it did brighten my light blue eyes--but I use the regular black lashblast for nights or going out--I bought my mother-in-law the cabernet to match her plum hair--it does bring out her brown eyes and matches her hair--but there is no shimmer whatsoever--I really don't know what a 'shimmer' is suppose to do for you anyway--that's why I gave it 7 stars because it doesn't deliver on the shimmer--otherwise I think its great for an alternative color--I would assume the black platinum would just look grey so why not just go for the regular black and its @ $1 cheaper?

this is a very expensive product that does no better than a suave conditioner---please to not waste your money--I bought it in france for 1/2 the price and that was still too much

I used to buy very high end mascaras that went for @$20, then I tried this for only $7, this is best mascara for the price--my lashes are long and thick in seconds--and its easy to remove--no smudges--it only gets clumpy by the end of the 3rd month which is when you're suppose to change it anyway--chanel drama lash doesn't even match up to this--I even bought it and sent it to my mother-in-law in France ( where it goes for @$20)--she loves it

I didn't smell anything like the other reviewers--it took too long to apply--you have to keep applying coat after coat before it dries and your lashes do get longer but not thicker like it claims so it gives you a natural long lash look --you can get this same affect with other mascaras and honestly all length and no volume doesn't look that great--this is good if you're in high school or really want to make like you don't wear makeup--other than that I'd give it a pass

I'm 44 with no wrinkles--my skin is normal--I tried using an expensive product that prevents aging and wound up with prickly heat looking stuff all over my face--I went to the dermatologist and she said--neutrogena, neutrogena, neutrogena-- she told me that I'm very lucky to look and have skin that like a thirty year old and not to 'fix something that is not broke'---forget about expensive treatments and go for simple and reliable--my prickly heat thing took about 4 weeks to go away--I use nothing but Neutrogena for my skin care--keep it basic and inexpensive

I recommend this covered retractable brush of the regular one b. e . has-it stays clean and powder doesn't get all over the place-it's the only brush I bring when traveling- all their brushes should be like this

I know this is the #1 mascara--I bought one for the 1st time 2 months ago for $4.99 at Target. Its just too wet and smudges onto my upper eyelid when applying. It also always smudged onto my under eyelids within 2 hrs. It also took forever to completely clean off--I was always left with a dark shadow around my eyes after cleaning. Yes it does lengthen nicely and the color is rich but at the cost of all the other set backs its not worth it, even for $4.99. Unless you forgot your mascara while on vacation and you need a cheap throw away replacement for the length of your vacation, I wouldn't recomment it.

I bought this at target two days ago for $6.99--totally worth it-the mascara goes on easily and does 'blast' your lashes quickly without smudging or flaking--comes off easily with eye makeup remover. this mascara stands up and even exceeds any of the high end mascaras --eg. chanel, estee lauder, dior, ect.--their prices are @$25.00--I will never ever ever pay that much for a mascara again for what I can get for less than half that amount.
