I've used this product for the past couple of weeks. The exfoliating beads give enough scrubbing action to not feel like your skin is stripped after cleansing, but the foaming action is nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, I have to use a lot of product to get any discernible amount of lather to cleanse with. If you already have a go-to cleanser, I say stick with it.

The product claims to define curls, boost shine and bounce. For me, two out of three aren't bad. This is a really good light moisturizer, but it doesn't have nearly enough hold for my world of curls. The scent took some getting used to, but now I don't mind it. Be careful though, as a little goes a long way. When I first tried the product I used the amount I would normally use with most products, but with Hair Milk, my hair felt a little too greasy. Now I only used about a dime size amount on each side of my hair. And I have REALLY thick hair, like Diana Ross thick.

This is a product that you have to use in conjunction with another gel or styling cream, as it doesn't give enough hold. I use it as a finishing spray and like that it doesn't leave my curls crunchy. It smells yummy too.

I am only 26, but I figure why not start on the anti-aging now. I don't really have any lines, but I wanted to try this to minimize the look of my pores and for overall skin tone evenness. I have been using this since mid December, and have waited to review until I could give the product time to work. So far, my pores aren't as noticeable, and my skin has improved a bit overall. For the first couple weeks my skin was dry and patch in some areas. But since then, my skin has evened out. I do know that for the first couple weeks of using it, I got a crap load of patchy areas around my face. That was not fun, but since then, I haven't suffered through any more dry, patchy areas. This product does last a long time, because I still have enough to last me for another month. I just wonder if I could get the same results from a drugstore retinol product.

as a mattifier this is a great product. This product is similar to a MD Skincare product that I can't think the name of (it didn't clear that well for me either). As for the clearing part, not so much. I've used this on a couple of pimples and hadn't noticed much of a difference than when I use any other product containing salicylic acid. While I haven't experienced any clearing benefits, I find that it does work well as a foundation primer, as it contains silicones that keep you from being shiny. Because of the price, I can't bear to throw it away, so I'll just continue to use it as a primer. In that respect, it performs really well.

Finally, I've found a great cleanser for my oily skin. Normally, most cleansers would initially leave my skin tight and dry. And then only a couple hours later, my T-zone would be extremely oily. I've noticed that since using this, I don't need a large amount to clean my face. I bought the large bottle and only pump about a nickel's worth into my palm. This is a really good thing because it is so pricey. I've had the same bottle since mid December, and I'm not even halfway through the bottle. Once applied, it doesn't foam up as much as some cleansers do. I think that may be because it doesn't have as much detergent, and that's why my skin doesn't feel as stripped of moisture. Since using this product, I have noticed less breakouts. One thing I have noticed is that when I wear a lot of makeup, I can still feel traces of makeup on my face. On days like that, I first use Dermalogica's Precleanse and then follow up with the Special Cleansing Gel. Luckily for me I am happy with this product, but if you purchase this from Ulta and aren't happy with it, you can always return it. Stores like Ulta and Sephora have the best return policies, so there are no worries.
