Olay 2-in-1 Advanced Ribbons Body Wash

No longer need to apply lotion!

I am in love with this Olay Body Wash (with Body Butter ribbons) (purple container) This wash smells wonderful and goes on so smooth and creamy in the shower. I use it with a poof thingy! I no long even need to use lotion afterwards... my skin is nice and moisturized right when I wash with it. The only reason I am docking one star is that I swear this stuff gunks up my bathtub. The moisturizers are great, but they seem to coat my tub and make it slick the next time I go to get in!

Lush Body Butters

My eczema-covered skin saver!

Love Lush Body Butter BUFFY bar! I have eczema on my arms and thighs and this is perfect for it. Now, it IS scratchy BUT, I am very gentle with it and it works perfectly. During any flare ups, I simply work the bar in my palms and get them good and "buttered" up, then rub it on my skin... works wonders! This bar leaves your skin SO moisturized that the water literally beads up on your skin. Be sure to pat yourself dry afterwards so that you leave the good stuff on when toweling off! Between this and the occasional tanning bed visit or sun exposure, my skin is smooth, soft and rarely flares up anymore.

Lush Ultimate Shine

I do not even need conditioner now!

I love this shampoo! It lathers gorgeously and richly (which REALLY surprised me). I do not even have to use a conditioner after using this product. I have used this bar, alternated with another one (Squeeky Green) and they have lasted 3 months so far. I am sure I have another month or so's use out of it. I shampoo every other day, btw. Definitely worth the $9.95 a bar. No packaging = better too! Did not notice a smell with this bar either.

Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Falsies Washable Mascara

Great mascara, a bit clumpy though...

I got this mascara because a friend on Facebook raved about it...well, I have purchased 2 tubes of it and I do love it with the two exceptions. 1) it tends to be a bit clumpy. I have tried following the directions which say not to let it dry between coats, as well as tried it after drying. Still clumps. However, the clumping is NOT enough reason for me to stop using this mascara! 2) the Waterproof formula is not only that, but lotion proof, soap proof, EVERYTHING proof! I went back and purchased the non-waterproof formula and threw out the waterproof one. After using eye makeup remover, and soap/lotions, the mascara was still on my lashes after a day and a half. IF this is what you want, go for it!

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain

Disappointment

I got one of these because I hate wearing lipstick and wanted something with some real color to it to put on and layer my glosses over. Well, first off, as the other reviewers say... do not apply it like a marker. I looked like I belonged on a street corner. I then learned to blot and kind of smack my lips together to blend it in on my lips. However, the color does not last, it only managed to stain the parts of my lower lips that were chapped (leaving me looking funny with dark splotches on my lips) I hate that I spent $7 on this.
