Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder

Didn't like it.

I really like the ColorStay foundation, so I decided to give this a try. Although I found a shade that fit me, I didn't feel like it helped my makeup stay on or provide good coverage. Next time I'll fork over a little more to get the powder that suits me.

C.O. Bigelow Soothing Lip Buffer

Nice, but probably a waste of money.

This product feels good on the lips and helps to make them softer. However, I think you could easily just use sugar and maybe petroleum jelly and have a very similar effect so I won't be buying this again.

CoverGirl Classic Color Blush

Pretty good stuff

I usually prefer a more shimmery blush, but this does just about everything right. It's not messy, the color looks natural, and the container lasts a LONG time. However, it doesn't quite strike the balance between too light and too noticeable and I usually have to reapply later in the day.

Almay Bright Eyes Eye Base + Concealer

Actually makes my circles look WORSE

I randomly bought this at the store without looking it up and that was obviously a mistake. Every time I wear it it brings attention to the bags under my eyes and overall just doesn't look good. I've had it for a long time but can't bring myself to put it on anymore.

Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin

My foundation of choice

I've tried many different drugstore foundations and I've found this one works the best on me. I have very oily skin and this does a decent job of preventing breakouts. I give it an 8 because I don't think it completely evens out my skin (I have to use a lot of concealer).

Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF 45 Daily Moisturizer

Good sunscreen, not great moisturizer for oily skin

I've been using this for a couple of years and it's done a great job of protecting my skin from sun damage, but I feel like I have to do a lot to prevent my skin from breaking out while using it. I also have to use blotting sheets when I use it because by midday my skin feels pretty greasy.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion

Won't cause miracles, but still worth buying

I'm in my early-twenties and still have problems with acne and breakouts, so I thought I'd give this a try. It burned my face the first couple of times and then it wasn't a problem. I feel like it does help in controlling my acne, but only if I keep the rest of my regimen. It also helps control oil and overall makes my skin feel smoother.

Revlon Brow Fantasy

Good while it lasts

The pencil is a little thick but it does its job and the gel does seem to help with taming eyebrows, but the pencil part doesn't last long. The pencil part is so short that it can only be sharpened once or twice before it can't be sharpened any more. The lead always seems to break apart so it lasts even less than that.

Almay Intense I-Color Liquid Eyeliner

One of the best liquid eyeliners I've tried.

This eyeliner is easy to apply and has a strong but not overbearing color. It doesn't seem to last very well on my lower eyelid, but since I don't usually put eyeliner there it's not a big deal.

Wet n Wild Silk Finish Blush Compact

Good, but has a serious drawback.

The blush itself was pretty good, although it didn't blend well. However, the cake breaks apart easily and both times I bought this blush it got all over all of my other makeup. Months later I still have blush smears all over my makeup bag that I can't get off because of it. Definitely not worth it.
