Zia Everyday Moisturizer

Good for combination skin

I have combination, slightly-blemish-prone skin. This moisturizer is great for day or night and does not cause breakouts. The packaging recommends that you put this on damp skin: definitely right if you want it to sink in all the way. I don't like using toner sprays, so I just don't dry my face all the way after washing. If you put this lotion on completely dried skin, it takes a lot longer to sink in and feels a little heavier. Sometimes I do this for nighttime if my skin feels like it needs some extra moisture. It is unscented, which is great, because who needs extra chemicals? This is a great, basic, versatile moisturizer that I think would be good on any skin type.

Victoria's Secret So Sexy Volumizing Mousse

Best volume I've found!

I have straight hair that is very flat without product. This mousse gives AMAZING volume and smells really good (it's strong, but I've gotten good comments on how it smells, and it does dissipate). You need to figure out the right amount to use for your hair length because using a little bit too much can make your hair a bit too stiff feeling. I try to put the mousse only in the roots because it can makes for dry ends, although blow drying well will fix that dry look. Overall, this mousse gives great volume, but you can definitely feel that you have product in your hair.

derma e® Very Clear® Cleanser

good basic face wash

I have combination, somewhat-blemish prone skin. Since using this, my skin has maintained it's clarity. I alternate with a salicylic-based cleanser, so it's hard to say which one does better at keeping my skin clear. This cleanser does not dry out my skin at all-- even if I skip my moisturizer, I don't get that tight feeling. It's creamy and does not foam, so it's not super-quick/easy to rinse off. The smell of it is nice and clean (if you like tea tree, like me). If I use it in the shower when my pores are open, it leaves a nice cooling sensation on my skin. I would say that if you have more than mild acne, you might want something stronger than this to get things under control. This seems to be more of a basic cleanser for someone who only gets pimples occasionally. It's a good cleanser, but overall nothing amazing.
