  • DevaBlonde One Condition

I have only used this line for a few days (the No-Poo and the One Conditioner) but I agree with the first reviewer "Wow" My hair is thick and curly but the hair itself is rather fine. I have long S-curve curls and some curlier parts and some kinky and just all over it seems like I got hair from a bunch of different people. Anyway this conditioner is brilliant! my hair felt so soft but not so soft that it didn't hold its curl, and I didn't get the usual giant-rats-nestesqu-snarl at the nape of my neck at the end of the day. Highly recommend this line for all variations of curls! Would probably be really good on straight hair too as it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down.

    Clinique Quickliner for Eyes

    Rather Impressed!

I used Violet over the Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Shadow in Sparkling Nude and it lasted all day! Seriously and no migrating down below my eye. I have rather oily skin and oily eye lids, and this was pretty cool. The color isn't too saturated so its rather soft. I think this is a rather good catch. I haven't tried it much but we'll see. I also have really sensitive dry eyes and this didn't bother them at all.

    Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

    Confused by the high praise

This does feel nice and smell nice and looks nice when you put it on, but it rubs off! as in, it makes a film on top of your skin and if you rub your face it starts "pilling" is the best way to describe it. If you use a little its ok, and don't rub your face, but I don't think its a huge deal. I am trying Fresh Rose Primer instead, which I think I like better.

    Sebastian Potion 9

    part one of my combo

I have long curly (not tight curls) hair and its been hard to find the best products for it. So what i have now, which seems to be working great is to wash hair (lots of conditioner) then scrunch with a towel to remove excess water then scrunch in Potion 9 and then follow with scrunching in Wired then letting it air dry with the occasional root to tip scrunching throughout the morning.

  • Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer Oil Free

I have mild acne, but at 26 I really feel like I shouldn't have any! I break out most at certain times of the month. I have been using this product for about a month and I am blown away. It took a little time to figure out what the best proportions were. I use it just once at night and then after I let it sink in I use a combo of pure jojoba oil and Aveda's all sensitive moisturizer on top. The Acne Solutions product is rather drying so the super hydrating top lotion is a must. I was using it twice a day, but that was just drying out my skin too much. In the AM I just wash with a gentle cleanser and then use Clinique sun screen for face (if I'm going to be outside) or just the jojoba oil concoction again. And I use Clinique almost make up on top of that. I've been very happy with the results, a have the occasional small pimple or two but it has improved dramatically! Highly recommend trying it. Go easy at first. It can be very drying.

  • Aveda All-Sensitive Moisturizer

This stuff feels so nice on your skin! I use a acne cream first (clinique) and let that dry and then smooth this over my face it feels just like a nice cooling moisturizing treatment. I use much heavier moisturizer at night but this is wonderful for the day time. I love everything about this (except i wish it came with built in sun screen but I don't think it could be "all-sensitive" then because I'm sure someone is allergic!

  • Clinique Supermoisture Makeup
    6.0

    Clinique Supermoisture Makeup

not great for young skin (no idea what its like for older)

I'm 26 and I found this foundation to be to . . . chalky? it settled over little dry spots and made them more visible (which is ironic seeing as its supposed to be "supermoisture." It had too much "light reflecting" but which is really just tiny sparkles which drive me nuts and I don't understand why the put that stuff in such quantities in make up. when you look like you have a sprinkling of diamond dust on your face, sure it might detract from "fine lines" but it still looks like you are covered in fine glitter! The shimmer just made it look kind of greasy and unnaturally shimmery. Now that said I really like mixing a drop of it with a drop of Clinique's almost make up, which I find to be a little too much on the matte side. I definitely love the combination of the two, and highly recommend it for those with oily combination skin.

  • Clinique Almost Makeup SPF 15

I have medium oily skin and this stuff is awesome. Its got a bit more coverage than other tinted moisturizers I've used. It keeps my skin from getting shiny all day and it just evens everything out. I also like mixing it with the supermoisture make up (which I find to have too much shimmer/light reflectors on its own) the combo is perfection. I highly recommend this make up to anyone!

  • Nicole by OPI Nail Polish

    Nicole by OPI Nail Polish

first polish that made it look like a professional pedicure

I bought this in "Pink Different" a great bright dark pink, wonderful for summer toes. This went on so smooth and shiny it looked, and my friends couldn't believe that I had done it myself. I put on a base coat, two coats of the lacquer and then a top coat. Its lasted weeks on my toes. I haven't tried the brand on my fingers yet. But really the best nail polish I have used at home, even better than some of the regular OPI colors.

  • Bumble and bumble Creme de Coco Shampoo

I thought I needed to use B&B's Tonic shampoo because of my mild dandruff and oily scalp, but I think I might have been going in the wrong direction. This shampoo is lovely and moisturizing. It actually seems to be keeping me more flake free. I switched because I got low-lights and my stylist felt it would be less stripping. And just like its conditioner counter part (which I also use) it smells heavenly!
