My big advice about L'Oreal True Match: make sure you get the right shade for you and, after that, the stuff works like a dream. Don't use the transparent card against the wrist like it instructs. Instead, compare it to your jawline. I took a friend to the store and then we held up different bottles up to my chin to find the one that looked the closest -- a much better system. Overall, this is an excellent product especially at the very affordable drugstore price. It blends easily and naturally for light-medium coverage. The finish is not completely matte but not totally dewy -- essentially it leaves a nice, fresh look to the skin that isn't heavy or mask-like in any way and easily lasts all day.

Using this product, I was able to achieve some very long, spidery lashes. Unfortunately, overall I found problems with over-application leading to major clumping to be a real turn-off. It took more time to apply, which is never a good property for a daily use product like mascara. I don't think that the wand concept in and of itself is a bad idea, it's just that when it's not what you are used to, it can lead to a rocky start. Also, I should add that I don't think the formula is at fault for the clumping problems I experienced, but rather it was due to getting too much product on the lashes as a result of the wand. The formula itself was rather nice and I didn't experience any flaking or smudging at all.

It does have a really interesting scent with infusion of rosemary and mint. It is a spicy smell that is not saccharine-sweet in any way. It does come off as a little strong initially, but quickly fades. With regard to its ability to function as a hair spray, I would give it a solid B. It's not amazing, but it is passable. I think the main advantage to using it would be the UV protection. So if you want to protect your color-treated hair, spending the money on this spray might be a reasonable idea. If you are just looking for a good hair spray for daily use, I think that there are cheaper alternatives.

t is quite a difference and I think my lashes definitely look fuller. The brush does a good job of grabbing every little lash to achieve this, but I found that it was a little tricky to use. Due to the large size of the brush, it would often place mascara beyond the lashes on my eyelid which then needed to be cleaned up with a cotton swab. Eventually I got the hang of it and needed less clean up, but it was a persistent problem with the new mega-brush. My other complaint is with the size of the container. Why does mascara need to be in these humongous containers? One of the best selling mascaras of all time, Maybelline Great Lash, has a small, very compact container and people love it. Is there some idea that the larger the container, the larger the space it will take up in my heart?

n the balance, this product has some real advantages. To start, it is incredibly affordable for an eye cream. Especially considering that it contains two treatments in one. In terms of quantity, each tube contains .2 oz of product; this has easily lasted more than a month with some to spare. I like the addition of the SPF in the AM cream and, of the two, it seems to be my favorite. Maybe the PM cream has some awesome, revolutionary ingredients, but it seemed pretty standard to me. After a month of use, I can't say that I've seen dramatic results using the L’Oreal Revitalift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream. Nevertheless, I think this product is a success in providing access to protective, anti-aging ingredients at an affordable, drugstore price.

This product was pretty disappointing for me. It did have some positives like having an immediate tint and some very glamorous shimmer/sparkle. It dried in 10 minutes or less and didn't stain my clothes. But, I was still disappointed by the color and especially by the formula. No doubt, this is a very deep tan and probably too intense for the fair skinned. It is definitely bronze and not a subtle glow. My main complaint is with the formula. This product resulted in a streaky mess in my hands. I don't know why this would be as I followed all the usual self tanning guidelines (exfoliate, use on dry skin, etc.). I rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and still could not get it to look uniform. Finally, I gave up in frustration, knowing that I would be looking at streaky legs for the next week, which I was. To add insult to injury, the scent was the usual toxic self tanner scent and not pleasing in any way. Clearly other reviewers had success with it, but in my experience, it was pretty disappointing.

I had good luck with the shampoo, conditioner, finishing cream and hair spray from this collection, which is pretty impressive. My experience with the spray gel was less than stellar, though, and I would recommend against it. It doesn't really help much with the tousles, my hair just looked matted and crusty after using it. I much prefer the finishing cream. It's only 3 bucks, but save your money for some of the others.

The smell of everything in this collection is great, including the Hair Spray. It is medium hold and is not sticky at all. I also appreciate that it isn't aerosol. For $3, it's hard to beat!

I tried all of these and this was my hands-down favorite for styling that perfectly imperfect look. I used it with the shampoo/conditioner. After washing, I smooth a small dollop of the Finishing Cream from mid-shaft to the ends to keep the frizz under control while piecing out some tousles. After working the Finishing Cream through, I have finger twist 1-2 inch pieces here and there all over my head and then let my hair air dry. I have finger twisted essentially the entire head and then blown it dry with a diffuser. Either way, I get beautiful, beautiful tousles that work with my natural wave. The finishing cream is not too heavy and is easy to use. Love it!

I'm not generally a mousse fan, so I don't have a lot to compare this one to. But, it does live up to its claims of helping create that perfectly tousled look. I used it with the shampoo/conditioner from this line and it worked well. I love the scent. I'm not sure that it actually did any volumizing, so that was kind of disappointing. It is incredibly affordable, though, and smells great.
