I was used to professional tools, having been a cosmetologist/salon owner for several years, but when I had to replace my personal hair dryer, I opted for this one. I like that the back comes off in order to clean the "vents" and this is an ion dryer, which is slighter more healthy for the hair and cuts the crying time down. I haven't noticed any huge difference in my hair, but this is a pretty good, inexpensive option to the professional tools.

Although the picture is of a marcel iron, my favorite, I like the spring irons as well. Hot Tools also sends a replacement spring in case it breaks, which is wonderful. All of the Hot Tools gold irons have adjustable heat dial, heat to full temp. withing 60 seconds, and maintain the temp. throughout the curling process. This line is wonderful!

I LOVE the Hot Tools gold irons in general, but the marcel irons are particularly wonderful! In fact, I only used the gold Hot Tools marcel irons in my shop! They all have an adjustable heat setting, heat to full temp. within 60 seconds, and maintain the temp. throughout the curling process. Wonderful irons!

I have all but two of these colors, and while I didn't care for this as a stand alone shadow, I LOVE using them for eyeshadow bases! They really help to bring my shadows to a new level. It seems like the formulation is slightly different between the colors though, for instance the buttered pecan one feels like moisturizing cream, and the others aren't quite as soft.

I have this in pink lemonade, and while the color is very pretty, there's just too much shimmer for my taste. It smells great and is very creamy, but not one of my favorite ELF products.

I have several kabuki brushes, and this one isn't as soft as my others but it's a great size, hasn't shed much, and is the perfect density.

I bought this in warm tan and LOVE the color for contouring. Most bronzers I've used have an orangy or reddish under tone to them, but this one I've found to be exactly what I've been searching for. The powder is VERY finely milled so it breaks up a little easily, but that's the only down side to this in my opinion. I plan on keeping several of these on hand!

I'll admit that when I first got this I ended up ripping out several eyelashes when my hand jerked, but have learned NOT to try to squeeze so hard. When used properly this little tool is incredible! The design allows it to sit in the perfect position for curling. This is the only lash curler I use now.

I tried this with liquid foundation and found the application to be too streaky and uneven. I've since switched to using mineral makeup, and this brush is PERFECT for use with my mineral concealer!

I really like this brush, although when mine arrived the top fell off and needed to be re-glued, which wasn't a total let down for the price. This brush is absolutely terrific at packing on the color though. I use mine all of the time along with my higher priced brushes. I would definitely recommend this one.
