I try to stick to skin care products that are natural and organic. One day I ran out of my usual sunscreen (Aveda) and had to find something quickly at a drugstore. The Neutrogena gel is very soothing and cools the skin. It didn't make me feel greasy or have a strong sunscreen smell. You don't need to apply a lot either. Overall quite average and recommended if there are no other choices.

I love Aveda's philosophy but their products for curly hair are average to below average unfortunately. The shampoo is the worst and makes your hair feel stripped. Of the three products in the Be Curly line, I find the Curl Enhancer lotion is the best to use after you wrap your hair in a microfibre towel for five minutes after showering and before applying styling products.

I love Burts Bees lip balms. They do not dry out my lips and it smells so wonderful. The ingredients are quite natural and safe.

I have been reading how anti-perspirants are very bad for your body, but having a hard time finding something natural and somewhat safe that didn't make me stink. This by far is the best! My armpits are sensitive too and this doesn't irritate my skin..it keeps me dry...and not stinky all day. Totally recommended!

This daily conditioner kind of dried out my hair which I didn't like. It doesn't detangle well either as the bottle claims...stick to the reconstructor Joico makes.

I recently had to change hair products cause what I was using stopped working (guess my hair got used to it) its been over ten years since I used the KPak line from Joico so I decided to give it another try. I still love this deep conditioner. It's great at making my hair feel detangled and less frizzy!

I love the Perfect World line from Origins! I use the skin guardian both day and night right after I apply a toner and before my moisturiser. It makes such a difference to add a layer on my face as it makes my skin feel so smooth and even glowing. Its really great in the colder months too and I get compliments constantly I look like I am in my 20s when I am really in my late 30s (shhhh!)

I love these bubble bars with Amandopondo, Pop in the Bath, Hot Milk, and Marathon bars being my favourites! The bubbles are awesome and make the water feel sooo wonderful. I love putting half of one in my tub while reading a book and drinking some tea. I highly recommend the Marathon bar after a long and hard workout at the gym or outside. The Amandopondo is great too especially if you drop an Avobath or Big Blue bath bomb first!

At first I had an issue using a shampoo that has a name closely resembling a female vaginal infection, but I found it to be a nice little shampoo bar! Like the Curly Wurly by LUSH, it has a strong coconut smell although this is more pina colada like than german chocolate cake. I like the fact that for a shampoo bar, it is rather lathering and it helped get rid of residue in my curly hair, but it also contains Sodium Laurel Sulfate which is not great for hair especially if it is curly. These little shampoo bars LUSH makes are great for travelling or camping, and as a novelty, but I honestly prefer bottled shampoos for daily use.

I have 3b curly hair and found this to be so-so..The pros include it's quite lathering and it smells wonderful. Note there are chunks of coconut in the shampoo itself (all LUSH products are mostly natural and handmade) which some people love or hate. I personally didn't mind it much as it does smell great and makes hair feel soft however if you don't properly wash this shampoo out, you may find coconut flakes in your roots. That would be a major con!
