  • Sally Hansen Maximum Plumping Lip Treatment

My friend gave this to me for a birthday present (the clear one). It was NOT a good gloss. The smell/taste was weird, and it was super thick and sticky. As for "lip plumping," I can't really say. My lips are naturally plump, so I don't really know if it plumped them up more or not.

  • Nivea A Kiss of Shine Glossy Lip Care

It was a nondrying lip gloss. I'm not really a fan of glosses, but this one was okay. The scent was kinda weird, but the gloss itself wasn't too bad. I won't be repurchasing though.

  • Maybelline New York Great Lash Waterproof Mascara

I heard so many great things about this mascara, and it was 3 for $10 at CVS, so I went ahead and bought 3 (bad idea). It smudged like crazy on my oily eyelids. And waterproof? Nope, not at all. I gave the rest to my mom and threw my tube away.

  • Biore Make-Up Removing Towelettes

I've never really been a fan of Biore products (though they do work for some people and the packaging IS super cute), and this one was pretty bad. Thankfully, it was a sample so I didn't have to waste my money on it. I only used it to clean off my eye makeup after Halloween one year, and it stung my eyes so badly.

  • Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

I bought this in a tub at Sallys Beauty Supply because they didn't have a tube. That was probably a mistake because 1) the tube is HUGE and 2) I worry about the hygienic-ness of that. I always wash my hands before using it, but still... Anyway, I really liked it, but as time went on, I used it less and less. Now I only use it for my T-zone or really bad pimples. However, I noticed lately that it smells REALLY sulfuric- like rotten eggs. That wouldn't be too bad, as I would just wash it off, but the smell has seeped into my pores and I can smell it the day after. It's too bad, b/c it's a pretty good product. Maybe I'll just use it on Saturdays from now on. Price wise- it's pretty cheap.

  • Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

They work all right for removing blackheads, but they just made my pores bigger and the blackheads would come back the next week. Then I would have to use another one and buy boxes and boxes... it was just a vicious cycle. Just stop using them if you have a lot of blackheads- they won't help. Find another solution. If you only have a few, then go for it, I guess.

Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

These don't do much more than the original

The ultra deep cleansing ones didn't remove more blackheads than the original did...maybe they're just placebo? Plus there are less strips in the box.

  • Biore Nourish Moisture Lotion SPF 15

It broke me out and made my skin super oily. I don't like the fact that it's scented, though the smell itself isn't too bad. The packaging is cute, but it was a total waste of money.

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub

This was definitely the best smelling cleanser I've ever used. Seriously. I would have continued using it just because I loved the smell, but the twice a day scrub was a bit too much.

  • St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub
    6.0

St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub

    Less Abrasive than Apricot Scrub

The texture of this scrub is more like that of sugar, whereas the the texture of the Apricot Scrub was more like sand. This was good for a once a day exfoliating. I like the cleanser better (the green tea one that comes with a pump), but this one's okay too. I didn't really see much of a difference in my skin though.
