I have thin/medium thickness curly hair. Straightening is usually a lot of work and takes a lot of time. I have to blow it first and it usually comes out quite frizzy, then I have to go over it with a flat-iron. I used the keratin perfect treatment and followed the directions exactly. Immediately after the treatment the hair was very smooth and straight. I didn't wash it for 4 days, even though you can actually wash it after 2. After washing it, the texture of the hair if I don't use heat on it at all is not very different from my usual hair texture. The curls are a little less tight (not much) and the hair is softer. The big difference however is that if I want to straighten it, all I have to do is go over it with a flat iron once it is dry and it comes out perfectly straight and smooth. No blow-drying necessary anymore. I would say that is worth it.

Most hair gels either don't have enough hold or leave your hair flaky or feeling like a helmet. This is great because it's not too sticky, dries smoothly and leaves no residue behind all while delivering great hold.

Having curly hair, a good conditioner is very important to me. Some or not thick enough, don't smell nice, or leave residue. This conditioner is perfect but for some reason hard to find. It is perfectly moisturizing and not too heavy. I've tried all sorts of conditioners from the more pricey (bumble and bumble) to the drugstore variety and it always comes out on top.

I have curly to wavy hair that is of medium thickness. This mousse does not give enough hold. It also does not at all prevent frizz. In terms of providing definition to curls, it also doesn't do that. By mid day my curls start looking weird and shapeless, not quite limp but not like well defined curls. I would not recommend this product at all.

I used to wear the Nars matte foundation and decided to try the Maybelline Fit Me! foundation mostly because I was tired of paying $43 (!) for foundation. Fit Me turned out to be great, just as good. I look for a foundation that won't look cakey, won't look smeared and will blend on naturally and will spread on easily over my sunblock and this foundation did all of the above. In fact, the shade I used turned to work out even better than the shade I had been wearing from the Nars matte foundation. By far the best liquid foundation I've used, and not just for the price.

This foundation is just ok. I don't think it cleared up my skin. The coverage is pretty light, and it's very watery. Doesn't really make your skin look flawless, just provides minimal coverage.

So, I love this foundation because it really makes my skin glow and the coverage is amazing (although you do have to be careful because it can come on too heavy if you're not careful). The problem is, I think it made my skin break out.

It has a nice soft texture when you apply it and it is easy to blend. The coverage is more on the light side. The problem is it doesn't really do what it is advertised to do which is make your pores smaller or your skin look airbrushed. I actually think it did the opposite. From up close it looks flaky. I wouldn't buy this product a second time.
