BareMinerals Mineral Veil Finishing Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 25
Foundations okay, mineral veil....ehhh
I'm iffy on the foundation to begin with and I think that when using the mineral veil, all the spots that I have just covered show again. I try to just put it on my nose, forehead, and chin when I use it, and it semi-works to stop oil. If I don't use any powder, however, in these summer months and I use the Warmth product, my skin becomes an oil slick! BareMinerals....you are losing me.

I have recently switched back to liquid makeup after using BareMinerals in fairly light for about six months. After getting the technique down, I thought it was working for a while. But when I get bad breakouts, the product just doesn't cover and cakes up. I think it covers the acne scars a little better than liquid does, but I think need a non-powder concealer. Post-blemish marks take a lot of work to cover. Overall, if you don't have perfect skin, this product can work, but it takes a long time to accomplish the finished, flawless product. I didn't experience any itching, but I think the product MAY have contributed my acne problem--it is hard to say though, perhaps the real problem was another product or that some was stuff in my pores (don't forget that the particles are small, which can get in pores easier)

This stuff definitely lasts more than 24hrs. I don't moisturize as much as I should in the winter, so by the time summer comes and I start revealing my legs more, I end up having to heavy duty moisturize to make up for the lost moisture. It works, isn't too heavy and although many people say Aveeno is too expensive, I think it is a great value for drugstore products.

The chick at Sephora helped me find this--it's worth the money and a little goes a long way. I've been using it a week. She suggested it worked well with bare minerals, but I have been using it over and under my Neutrogena Visibly Even foundation in Soft Gold--It blends well. I'm not sure how well it deals with darkness under the eye though. I'll keep you posted though. For now, I'm definitely interested in buying more Stila products.

I am a little disappointed by this eyeshadow. I agree that there should have been an applicator. The slide opening is cool, but I don't really get why it's like that. I bought this in "Sand," and while I love the colors, I don't think it lasts all day--it also creased a little (which maybe wasn't the eyeshadow 's fault...not sure). It is a great base though and brightens up the eye area if you want a natural look. But, if using it alone, make sure to set with powder, or use a concealer as base to hold in place.

I would agree with another reviewer that this is better as a mask--once or twice a week. When my skin is really bad I use it more as a cleanser but I find that it can be irritating when used everyday. It's probably best to start off using either morning or night every other day.

I have been using Lotion Lite for a while now--It softens the skin and helps with any irregular pigmentation due to acne scarring. Best to use in night time regime. Follow with a light moisturizer--I haven't tried any of the Glyderm moisturizers though.

A dermatologist recommended to me that I use this product a few years back in conjunction with Lotion Lite. It worked well then, and I recently returned to using it. I love how it makes my skin feel. It gently removes makeup too, although if you have a thick layer on I would recommend using another product to remove it first--otherwise it will take a while. No one really knows about this product, but I will continue to use this for a long time. One more note--make sure if you are in the sun that you use sunscreen (especially in summer) as I believe glycolic acid makes the skin more photosensitive.

I am extremely picky about lip gloss. This one is comparable to Clinique's Raspberry one, except it has a great flavor. Sometimes I actually add a base coat of lip balm before applying this though--especially in the winter when lips get extra dry. Otherwise, I love it--it's long lasting, shiny and perfect for any time.
