Ive used every mascara on the market and know that this is not on the top of the list. It is very black and shiny but not very lengthening. It provided nice volume and did not smudge or flake once. Im not turned off by the smell and did not have any problem with the application since I did not wait for the coats to dry in between. I will say that it is worth the eight bucks but I wouldnt buy it again.
