I probably never would have tried this had I not received a free deluxe sample from Sephora. I've seen mixed reviews on this site -- the same product seems to be listed 4-5 times on this site under several variations of its name, so check for all of them. I really like it so far -- it makes my skin glow and seem more clear. Maybe I'm older (35) than the other reviewers and therefore had more visible results. My skin is very fair so I wasn't sure if this would produce a noticeable difference, but it's not that it whitens skin, it just seems to clarify it and even it out. My skin tends to have some spots of redness at times and this seems to help even them out. Though my skin is very sensitive, this doesn't seem to bother it. I would recommend this product if you can find it cheaper than the retail price of $90 per 3.0 oz (e.g., on eBay).

Seems like a good idea and I did like it at first, but I stopped using it for a few days and noticed that there was no discernible difference in my appearance without it. I used the green one to minimize redness.

Better than CertainDri which stings and which I forget to put on at night. Better than the Dove Clinical Strength "equivalent," which doesn't last as long or smell as good. Haven't tried the Degree equivalent. Secret Clinical leaves no stains on clothes, blends in quickly to become clear. You could skip a day with this stuff if you needed to. I won't buy anything else from now on unless there's some major breakthrough. I read in a magazine you can use antiperspirant on your feed to avoid having your sandals get all sweaty (I live in a very humid climate) and I tried it with Secret Clinical and it works for that too.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Lip Stain
best lip stain, hands down . . . and I've tried them ALL
This is by far the best stain I've used. So far I've tried the "unzipped" shade and just ordered a couple of other colors. I'm trying to get the word out about this because I'm terrified they'll discontinue it if enough people don't buy it. It's pretty much perfect -- I love the magic-markerish applicator and it doesn't make your lips all crusty (though I do put some lip balm on top of it). It lasts a really long time and you can layer it on for a darker shade. Before I found this my favorite was Hard Candy in "piglet" but they just discontinued that, and I didn't like the applicator or the watery consistency. The Victoria's Secret stain doesn't have those issues and lasts longer. Off the top of my head these are the other lip stains I've tried, all of which pale in comparison to the VS stain: benetint, becca lip tint, vincent longo, sephora, avon lip marker, urban decay, laura mercier, lancome, lip ink, tarte, loreal once bitten, etc. -- the list goes on. I've tried everything Sephora carries online (which includes some of the above) plus several others. I can't say enough good things about the VS stain. My search is finally over!! At least until they discontinue it . . . c'mon, help me out ladies!!! Let's give 'em a reason to keep this one on the market!

I liked this at first, but it seemed to lose its effectiveness -- my teeth hit a "plateau." Also it's hard to get the applicator to get between teeth -- or maybe the gel just doesn't want to stay there. I'm going to try Supersmile based on other reviews I've seen of that.

I've tried every lip stain there is, and while this one is not perfect, it's the best one I've tried. Only drawback is that it doesn't last long enough (but I think I tend to have unreasonable expectations in that area). Piglet is a great color -- not to red, not too pink. Nice mauve-ish shade.
