Clinique Super City Block Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 40
Great SPF - Great Primer - Great Product
I've been using this daily for about 3 weeks and couldn't be happier with it. I have combination skin and have always had issues with a very oily T zone throughout the day. After washing my face in the morning I use an eye cream and then only the Super City Block on the rest of my face - no need for a moisturizer. I wear Iredale PurePressed foundation powder over it and now only need to touch up my makeup once a day vs. 3 or 4 times per day. It goes on a bit shiny, but after just a few minutes the shine is diminished. I wore this to the lake one Saturday (out on the water for 5 hours) and got only a touch of color on my face with no reapplying - that's pretty amazing to me. This is one product I will be buying time and time again...no need to search for something better. My mother also decided to try it and loves it as much as I do!!

I've been using Iredale products almost exclusively for 4 years now and I LOVE both the pressed and loose foundation powders. You will look more matte with the pressed, but after just a few minutes it mixes with the moisture and oils in your skin and looks incredibly natural (like you were born with great skin - even if you weren't). As a makeup artist that has used it on women from 16 to 70 I can tell you it is also better on mature skin than the loose mineral powder - it doesn't settle into the lines the way the loose can and I find it works better with the creamer moisturizers often used by women with more mature skin.

As a former Counter Manager for Clarins and a former free-lance makeup artist I try just about every new product from Clarins that fits my skin type. I won't buy this one again however. It's not that it does anything wrong - it just doesn't do anything. My T-zone is just as shiny with it as with out it and the fine lines that are there when I don't use it are there when I do. I finally quit using it.

I love Jane Iredale's Moonglow. It has so many uses. I use the lighter shades as an eyeshadow from lash line to brow line and I love the brown as an eyeliner (use a wet liner brush and it lasts all day) or all over the eye lid. I also wear it as a bronzer. Just sweep a large fan brush over all of the colors and sweep on everywhere you would use a regular bronzer. I did my sister-in-law's makeup for her wedding and used this as a bronzer and she said her skin never looked better. P.S. I've had my Moonglow for almost 2 years now. It lasts forever. One piece of advice on any Jane Iredale products that are pressed: DON'T DROP THEM! They are quite fragile and will turn to dust if dropped!
