Maybe you're applying it wrong

I don't know why so many people have such bad reviews of this mascara. I love it. Granted it does have a very slight smell but so do some other mascaras. The key to it is to apply several layers right on top of another before each dries. It makes my ayelashes soooooo long and black and well defined. No clumping if applied correctly. For a drugstore brand it's one of the best.
