When you put this through your bun then lift and push down, it mostly just pierces your scalp and it did not hold in my hair type (thick, coarse, straight). Another disappointment along with my purchase of the spin pin. Want my money back.

Doesn't work on all hair types

I was very disappointed. I have thick coarse medium long straight hair and it didn't hold it in. The ends never stay secure. Don't waste your 6 bucks.
