I had this for a few months and like it a lot at first, but then it started to have a funky smell and got all liquidy. This has never happened before. Plus, as I switch to greener makeup, I realize this probably has a ton of bad stuff I don't want in my body--which is what happens with stuff you put on your lips.

Tried this on in the store and wow, shine city. Maybe it sinks in, but I won't bother finding out.

Not sure if toner really works. I guess I do notice a difference in how calm my skin feels, when I go straight from cleanser to moisturizer, but hey--could be a sugar pill. I do like this one though, and go back time and time again for it. It won't take off your skin and show up brown on the cotton pad like conventional toners do with all the alcohol, etc., but that's probably good.

Jane Iredale Cream to Powder Eye Liner
'Peacock' foursome colors amazing, but cause itching after 30 minutes
This happened to both my friend and I. I loved the bright blue, green and purples of the fourpack, but they're quite difficult to apply as they don't spread well, and then after a bit our eyelids started to itch. Not sure what it is but won't be purchasing it.

It seems fairly sheer, so it's hard to say if it's really reflecting or covering up all that much. But I like the smell and feel.

BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Ladies: Bismuth Oxycholoride is not an ingredient so pure you can sleep in it!
I have to say, my sister and I got swept up in the craze. It's healthy, pure, will help reduce blemishes, etc. Three years later, my poor sister runs out. So I let her try my Jane Iredale pressed mineral powder (I liked the finer texture a lot better). She uses it for two weeks, and guess what--her skin clears up! EXCEPT in a line across her cheeks, WHY? B/c she was still using BE blush! Bismuth Oxychloride is a cheap, unnecessary filler that 70% of women are allergic to. It can cause itching, redness and acne (my sister just got acne). The only way it bonds is by getting stuffed into pores, thus 'the buff.' I was shocked to find this out and just felt so sorry for all of the heartache my sister has been through never suspecting her makeup in the least. Needless to say, we're throwing it all out.

I could love this just for the wand, it's a soft brush, not those weird spongy applicators most gloss use. The scent is like vanilla latte, and it gives a nice shine, especially over lipstick. On its own, just your basic clear. I'm not sure about any 'plumping' haven't noticed a difference in lip size. Would buy again in a more prominent color.

This is my favorite Josie Maran product, and I have the tinted mois. and the lip gloss. It's a great color and very dewy and subtle. My only issue is that all of this cream stuff tends not to last. Maybe that's normal, but coming from a mineral powder, it's irritating. Maybe I should layer with a blush powder?

It's great coverage, as a girl who was used to matte powder venturing into the dewy world, I was happy that it covered redness around my nose, etc. w/o having to use concealer. But it's so sticky and rubs off if you blow your nose or brush your face. By an hour later, it's gone. And I don't have oily skin. I wish she just made a liquid foundation that would stay put and let me moisturize on my own.

So my poor sister just realized that for years, the good for you makeup 'Bare Escentuals' has a cheap filler called Bismuth Oxychloride that 70% of women are allergic to. It causes itching, redness and acne (for her just acne). How did she figure this out? She ran out of foundation, and I let her use my Jane Iredale pressed powder, but she was still using the BE blush, and guess what--a line of horrible blemishes across her cheeks. Anyway, I raved about JI and how clean it is, and she loves the powder, wanted some blush. We wait to buy on ebay cuz it's cheaper, and look up the ingredients just to be sure--and guess what, some, not all of JI's blushes ALSO have the chemical. Why Jaaaane??Why? It's not necessary! Minerals on their own are great for you! Needless to say, we're looking at other options.
