I picked this up at a drugstore without reading any reviews first. Because of the packaging, I thought I was getting a high-shine lipstick. I didn't realize until after I spent about 5 minutes wondering why I couldn't open the package like a normal lipstick that it was actually a lip gloss you apply with a brush. I was slightly disappointed because I don't prefer to use lip gloss, but this one seems pretty enough. The color was heavily pigmented so i used just a little bit and it was nice. Very glossy but not too sticky. It didn't stay on my lips very long, which is one of the main reasons I stay away from lip glosses in general. But that's my fault for not making sure I knew what I was buying.

I decided to try this product because I was looking for something that is gentle and also moisturizing. My eye make up can sometimes be hard to remove because I use both waterproof mascara and eyeliner and an eye primer that can be very stubborn. This seemed to work well enough. It was certainly very soothing to put on - I used my fingers to rub all around my eye area. I had to spend a little extra time on my lashes, but I didn't have to pull or drag on my skin with this product. It is very gentle on your skin and didn't hurt my eyes - I was able to open them while it was applied and it didn't sting or anything. I used a moist towel to wipe off my eyes when I was done and my eyes felt great afterwards. My only issue with this product was that it still left behind a decent amount of product. It looked like everything was gone when I used it that night but in the morning I had a decent amount of leftover makeup smeared under my eye. Next time I will try using this twice at night, that should do the trick.

This is the first eye shadow primer that I have ever used, and so far I am very impressed. I had never really put much thought into using one because I do not have oily eyelids and have never had much of an issue with my powder eye shadows creasing. However, I decided to try this product because I had recently purchased some of the NYX jumbo eye pencils for days when I didn't want to spend too much time on my eye makeup and found that after a few hours the color had creased up or mostly gone away. I tried using this primer underneath and the results were fantastic! The color showed up so much more vibrantly and lasted longer than I ever expected. After having such success with using it under a cream-based shadow, I decided to try it with my normal powder shadows. This is when I realized that I absolutely LOVED this product. Not only did my eye shadows (both higher end and cheaper quality) show up so much more nicely, but the color lasted so much longer! I had never realized how much color I was losing over the course of the day until I used this. By 11pm, my eye makeup looked just as it had when I applied it at 7am. There are a couple of reasons that I have given this an 8 rather than a 10. Though my bottle is still relatively new and full, I can see that eventually I am going to have problems getting all of the product out of the tube. At such a high price for a relatively small amount, I am concerned that I will not be able to get everything I paid for out of the tube. Also, I found that it makes blending with powder shadows slightly difficult. While it looks fantastic under a single layer on my lid, I had some trouble blending my crease shadow into a natural look. I have only had a chance to try this product in the original color, but I have ordered the colors Sin and Eden. I tried them in the store and Sin especially had such a lovely champagne-glow to it and seems like it would really brighten up some of the shades in the Naked Basics palette from Urban Decay that I use almost every day.
