  • John Frieda Precision Foam Colour

I'm rather in love with this product. I've been using hair color for a few years now, and I've always had a bit of a problem with some of them due to a strong smell. I've got sensitive skin, and products don't usually bother me, but they do leave my skin warm. This one was fantastic on all fronts. It really was easy to use. I didn't have any mess at all. It foamed up just like it should. The color was easy to spread throughout my long curly hair, and even managed to color it evenly. The color itself was a perfect match for me. I used the dark chocolate brown, and it was just as described. It was a dark chocolate color with just a hint of red sheen to it. Quite lovely. Easy to rinse out, and I love the conditioner. My hair is in great shape afterwards with no troubles.

  • L'Oreal Paris EverSleek Sulfate-Free Smoothing System Humidity Defying Leave-In Crème

I got this product to help treat my super frizzy tight curls during especially humid weather. Assuming I'm using appropriate my regular frizz-controlling shampoo and conditioner, this stuff is a great addition to my routine (though I've found as a standalone product it's effectiveness goes down). It does help keep my curls moisturized and resists frizzing. I'll use a styling gel afterwards to help hold the curls shape. Its got a really strong scent though (which smells fantastic), so if you're sensitive to that beware. It's also strong enough to interfere with other perfumes you're wearing, so be sure to test compatibility first.

  • Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Luminizing Face Primer

I've used a lot of primers, but this one has got to be the best quality for the price. So many other products offer so little product for such a huge price. For this price, you can't beat it (I buy it for $9.50 at my local drug store like Rite-Aid). It's got a bit of sparkle to it, but it's not overpowering. My makeup goes on so smooth, and helps me conceal my large T-zone pores, freckles, and other blemishes. To give an all over glow, use it everywhere. I've also used it as a highlighter in certain areas (either under or over foundation in this case). It's a great product all around.

  • Maybelline New York Fit Me! Foundation

Love, love, LOVE this foundation. It's looks so natural, like there's nothing there. It feels very light on the skin, and remains moist. It doesn't cake at all. It's got good coverage, yet blends into the skin really well. It worked great on my combination skin. I can safely go a couple shades darker for the warmer weather and still have it look natural. I also use lighter and darker shades for contouring since it blends so well and looks natural. Great new foundation, and couldn't think of a negative thing to say about it.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup

There's a lot I did like about this foundation. It covered really well. The color matched perfectly. It had a light feel to it that made sure my skin didn't feel weighed down at all. However, even with my combination skin it was just too drying. To make things worse, though it did blend well, it also dried too fast. I had to use heavy duty moisturizer and primer on top in order for this to work for me. But even then it was tended to dry out my skin. It will be really good for some people, but skin just didn't like it. Not going on my favorites.

  • Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase

This product is worth it's weight in gold. I've got sensitive skin, eczema, and am prone to acne. I have issues with the texture of my skin, including dry rough patches. Even alone, this product is a great moisturizer and has improved the texture of my skin. I use it on the rough patches of my skin before I use my moisturizer. It helps my makeup go on flawlessly because it helps to get rid of those flaky patches that plague my skin. If I could only have one product for my kit, this would be the one. I love it!

  • Clarins Wonder Volume Mascara

    Clarins Wonder Volume Mascara

    Soft, Buildable, Washable

I absolutely love this mascara. It goes on smoothly, so I don't need to separate the lashes. It's soft to the touch, but gives a lengthened look to the lashes. It's buildable, and doesn't clump. Between the brush, and the formula, it's an good all-purpose mascara that's served as a time-saver for me since I've had it.

  • Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Your Skin Makeup Foundation

I'm so in love with this foundation, alone or over a primer, it's a great overall foundation. I've got combination skin that's extremely oily in the T-zone. I've also got sensitive skin that's prone to dying out at odd moments. Never had a problem with this foundation at all. In fact, during the summer months this one is my favorite. It lasts quite a long time, and allows my skin to stay oil-free for longer periods of the day. The makeup stays right where I put it, even when I use rice paper blotter sheets for the occasional shine. I've used this on very hot days, and even then the makeup didn't melt like other brands. It feels thick coming out of the bottle, but it goes on smoothly. it covers great, and doesn't feel heavy at all. My only complaint is that it you cannot put it on dry skin at all. You've got to be scrubbed and moisturized for this product to look it's best.

    DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

    Suprisingly Good

I was wary to try this because I have acne prone skin with oily t-zone area, but this stuff is fantastic! At the end of the day, I cleanse my skin with this and it removes all my makeup in one go. It rinses off clean with no residue. I use it on weekends too when I haven't worn makeup, and it just makes my skin feel so nice. In the mornings I use my regular ProActiv regimen, and haven't had any flareups. Give it a try!

  • DHC Velvet Skin Coat

    DHC Velvet Skin Coat

    Flawless Skin Every Time

Wow! This is the absolute best product for people who want flawless skin. It's a bit odd to use at first. It's like rubbing velvet over your skin. But believe me, a little bit goes a long way. It works best for me under my base makeup. I have very deep pores around my t-zone area, especially on my nose. This helps to keep those areas looking flawless. I've also found this works great under your makeup in areas where you have blemishes, scabbed over areas, or dry rough patches. It helps to keep makeup from caking up in those areas. If there was one product I couldn't live without outside of my regular makeup routine, this is it!
