I have semi wavy hair with curly hair around the face. This straightener did heat up very quickly but even on high temperature, my hair took a long time to straighten. Even when my hair did finally get straightened it was very frizzy, the straightener sometimes got caught along it, and my hair start to get wavy shortly after the straightening. My hair isn't even that thick either...
