E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color

Great deal for $1

I actually got this for less than a dollar when they were having a sale on the website - I think it cost me less than 50 cents, which is why I tried it. It's definitely much better than I expected. It's quite pigmented and very long-lasting. I put this on before work, was caught in a rainstorm on my way home, and it was still bright and fresh looking! It's also not too shimmery and very wearable for everyday. The only downside is it's a little chalky and doesn't blend smoothly.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour

Best hair dye I've ever used!

Really truly love this product! I've used tons of hair dyes in the past but nothing has come close to the overall performance as this. It was easy to apply, the color was true, even, and natural-looking (I went about one shade darker, the brown-black color), and it left my hair in better condition. It's usually frizzy and dry, but after the dye it was sleek and smooth! A few days after dyeing, I went for a haircut with my stylist who's known me forever, and she was marveling at how healthy my hair had become. When I told her it was a box dye, she was shocked! The only thing preventing me from giving this a 10 is because it was not permanent. I only wash my hair every other day and it still only lasted a month before fading - 2 months later and my hair is back to its original color and state of frizz. It costs around $11-12 (significantly more than most box dyes) even at Walmart, but it's totally worth it!
