I've been using drug store brands for years and have had mixed results. I started this Acne Spot treatment a year ago and have had a more consistent clear complexion. I definitely can be drying for those with dry or sensitive skin, so I'd only suggest this for those with oily or combination skin (though it can be rough on combo skin in the Winter). I use a thin layer over trouble areas every day and have been happy with the results. It is more than I would like to pay for an acne treatment, but I would definitely purchase it again since the results have been pretty consistent.

I love this lip balm. It smells great, feels great, and you don't have to reapply very often (only after eating/drinking or brushing your teeth). It leaves a natural tingly feeling, not an uncomfortable menthol burning feeling. I have used this lip balm for several years and my family and friends all love it (including my dad, brother, and boyfriend). It's inexpensive and easy to find in stores.

It may not have that tingly feeling you get from the original Burt's Bees lip balm, but it smells wonderful and keeps your lips soft and moisturized. It's not as thick as the Original, so you have to reapply more if you're aiming for soothing chapped lips. It also has a glossier finish. There's no tint to it and even my guy friends like using it. It's not too expensive and it's definitely worth the cost.

I love this shadow, but I do not love the brush. I tried the V brush and it just doesn't work (at least not for my eye lids). I use the other end and an additional lining brush to apply the two shades - I used the picture in the tutorial and some online suggestions. The colors are sexy and make my eyes really stand out. The price was more than I'm used to spending for eye shadow, but definitely worth it in the long run. It lasts a long time and you can adjust the amount you want to put on depending on the occasion (wedding vs. going out on the town). It's the only shadow I've been using for the past six months.

I wasn't a huge fan of eyeliners until I used Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. It comes in several bold colors and lasts all day (as long as you don't heavily rub your eyes). It's easy to put on and comes off with any make-up remover. You can keep a line or smudge it for a smokey eye look (make sure you smudge within the first minute of application before it sets). I have four colors and it's the only eyeliner I use. The only downside is that it's slightly higher priced than what I'm used to paying, but it's worth it and lasts a long time.

This is the first Murad product I've ever used and I absolutely love it. The price is a bit of a damper, but this lotion helps keep my face from getting too dry or oily throughout the year. I use it twice a day and I've definitely noticed a difference in my complexion since I started using Murad over drug-store brands. This is a quality lotion and I would purchase it again.

I play sports and am outside all day sometimes. I like using Kiss my Face because it has SPF and keeps my lips hydrated and moisturized throughout the day. A bit pricey for a lip balm, but I would buy this product again.

My eyelashes are short, thin, and straight; not a sexy combo. I try to get products that can help thicken, lengthen, and curl my lashes. It definitely helped add length and thickness, but I didn't notice much curl. I still like using this product because it made my eyes stand out and didn't clump up or flake into my eyes. I would purchase this again...I'm starting to think my lashes are too short and that no product can help them curl except an eyelash curler.

Balanced diet has really helped when my face gets oily in the Spring and Summer. It's a very light and non-greasy lotion and it helps balance my face throughout the day. However, in the Winter when my combination skin is a little more dry than oily, Balanced Diet tends to dry my face out even more. I suggest a slightly thicker lotion like Have a Nice Day" if you have combination skin that tends to be more dry than oily.

I have combination skin - it can get dry in the winter and oily in the summer. I've always used a toner after I wash my face to help keep my skin balanced. However, Origins United State Balancing Tonic is the first toner/tonic I've used that I feel doesn't dehydrate my face or smell strongly of alcohol. I also notice that it helps to clean up excess oil and dirt on my face that washing and rinsing didn't take care of. I've been using it since December and I really like the results I've noticed in my complexion.
