FYI - I think the Fekkai hair products are brilliant and use many of them. This shampoo/conditioner combo were nowhere near moisturizing enough for my thick, curly hair. I think this might work if your hair is on the thin side, perhaps it has a clarifying (therefor drying) effect. That would explain the grapefruit-like scent:(

I stumbled upon this product (and its companion conditioner) when I was growing out my Japanese Thermal Reconditioning. I had to iron my outgrowth to get it to match my ends. This makes the hair less "ridgy" to begin with and easier to straighten - both resulting in less heat and force when straightening = less damage!

As always, I will refer to scientific studies when I review most of the products I am loyal to. The VAST majority of high profile derms endorse and USE this product. Studies show the combination of antioxidants PLUS the Ferulic acid somehow make each more effective than if used alone. I LOVE that they fight free radicals and help me prevent anymore sundamage than I already have!

Didnt love this. Left my hair a bit dry and tacky. Other similar, less pricey items worked better for me.

This might sound stupid, but this is an excellent family shampoo. To be honest, between my coloring and flat ironing, its a bit too tame for me. But its nicely priced, provides weightless moisture, and the smell is pure heaven. My kids use it daily.

My favorite jeans, my sexy/tough boots, my best fitting jacket and the best hair day. This fragrance is for when it all comes together, because it will get you NOTICED. It doesnt smell the same on everyone, but if it smells good on you, you are homefree, baybee! I usually prefer Mens fragrance, this is one of the exceptions. Not for the shrinking violet.

My 12 year old son has had eczema since he was 1 month old. Over the years I had concocted my own regime of products and application to keep it under control. It worked but it involved 3 different products (and quite gloppy ones at that)applied in specific order, etc. It was tedious and only worked if we did it RELIGIOUSLY daily. This cream is the BEST - its light and pleasant, COMPLETELY controls his eczema, and best of all, keeps it clear even if he misses an application or two. With this product he is eczema-free.

I have tried them ALL (including other Chi irons). Dont bother; this is The One. Heats in a blink. Maintains an even temp. NEVER snags or rips the hair (THATS HUGE). Comfortable to use - no accidental burns. GET IT. Trust me. Can I give it an 11??
