I never thought to use a toner before I got samples of this--yeah, brilliant marketing, I agree. But it does calm redness, irritation, itching, makes a great refresher for the face in the summer, and seems to impart just a hint of extra moisture to dry skin. Another fabulous product from Kiehls!

This is the only foundation I've bought more than once. I use Mont Blanc, and the color is a near perfect match for my skin tone. It does smell a bit funky at first, sort of like vaseline, but a) that's a million times better than a fake floral perfume and b) it evaporates quickly. It sits lightly on the skin, so it neither feels nor looks maskesque, blends like a dream, and honestly, does not look like makeup at all. I love it. It is kind of expensive, but well worth every cent.
