For the woman who was told to get this kit after being told she has sensitive skin: The person who advised you did not advise you properly. Someone with sensitive skin should not be layering acne treatments with salicylic and lactic acid over their skin in multiple layers. That is overlaod that will make your face freak! A gentle cleanser and toner combined with a spot treatment, clearing mask once a week and a gentle enzyme exfoliant is what you really need. I'm sorry you had your experience, but please do not blame the product--blame the bad advice. Not everyone who has breakouts should be using kits for acne skin. Acne can be caused by a variety of issues and each person needs to have their particular needs addressed in order to find the right treatment course for them!

Very gentle cleanser that also removes my mascara with ease and without an eye makeup remover or rubbing. Especially effective even on oilier skin like mine in the summer when paired with the PreCleanse. You just have to remember to work them both into the face for about 60-90 seconds before rinsing--you'll get even the most ground in sweat and dirt.

I am an esthetician who lives in the hot and humid Southeast and this product is a very effective mattifier for me that has eliminated the small whiteheads I would get on my chin and could never get rid of. People here who are disappointed because the product did not clear up their acne do not understand the product. This is not a blemish treatment--it contains .5% salicylic acid. That is not enough to clear up a pimple. It is enough to provide an antibacterial benefit to clear clogged pores and keep them clear. To clear up a pimple, you need a product with 2% salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Those who are unhappy probably bought this online without the advice of a professional esthetician and so were never educated on the true use of the product or told which Dermalogica product to use. Their products may be on the pricey side, but they are quality and they work. I'd rather spend more money on one product that does what it is supposed to do than waste money on 3-4 other brand's products from the drugstore that don't. Trust me, I've got the undersink cabinet to prove it. Do not blame the product...blame the lack of advice from websites that should not be selling this product, sell old stock that may no longer be effective and do not consult with their customers on the right combination of products to help with their particular skin issues. You can get skin mapped by a Dermalogica-trained licensed esthetician at any Dermalogica spa or salon for FREE--do it before using this skin care line so that you get the right products for YOUR SKIN. I can use any line in the world at wholesale prices and I use Dermologica...and to say I am picky is an understatement!

I wash my hands with antibacterial soap and use hand sanitizer at work constsntly, so my hands get rough treatment, and I love this stuff. I slather it on my hands whenever I can, at work and at home, and they stay soft and smooth. My nails do not split or peel either. AHAs slough off dead skin and the lotion hydrates without a greasy or sticky afterfeel. I don't have to wipe my hands off to pick things up or open doors. A tiny dab is all it takes--just a pea size amount covers my hands thoroughly--so it is not as expensive as you may think because it lasts. But the biggest thing is IT WORKS!

As a redhead, sunscreen is a must, but you should not apply sunscreen at night, 24/7. I hate having to buy 2 different moisturizers-a day with SPF and one for night without. With this booster, all you need is one moisturizer. Add this to it in the AM and you have SPF protection. Since I am pale and burn easily, if it didn't work, I would know. I have been outside all day with this on mixed with my moisturizer and no burn, and it is not greasy. You can even change moisturizers for the seasons and still have SPF.
