Clairol Professional Flare Permanent Cream Color

Violet not so violet

As a hairdresser I expected a better result from the 5VVR. I used this color on my hair to blend the new growth into the previously colored hair ( which was about the same level and the majority of it already had a red-violet base). The color when the oxidation process started looked more red- copper and the end result was more of a primary red with no violet present on the new growth. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I reapplied color this time using a 3v and it did mute the red some but once again, really no visible violet. The shade is pretty, just not what I was expecting. I wouldn't recommend this product at all due to the inaccuracy of tones indicated on the product.
