Best Inexpensive Mascara

This is the best "cheap" mascara I've found - and I've tried so many of them. I even like this better than many of the "expensive" ones I've tried. It thickens without clumping and makes your lashes look thick. If you have fine thin lashes, this drugstore mascara is a must.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar

Meh...

I really wanted to like this moisturizer (since I love the cleanser), but I just don't. It's kind of watery, and it doesn't really do much for my skin. I have found much better moisturizers for a third of the cost.

Great Exfoliator

I love this "peel" - it is the best exfoliator I've found. The first step is a warming micro-crystal scrub that does its job without leaving your face feeling all scratched up. The second step is a foaming salicytic acid gel that you can leave on shorter for a light exfoliation or longer for a deeper exfoliation. This duo really leaves my skin soft and glowing.

Best Facewash Ever

After years of trying many different facewashes, I keep coming back to this one. It is gentle enough on my sometimes sensitive skin to not stip it, but powerful enough to clear away all the makeup and oil. I have a tendency to break out using new products, but this one has always always kept my skin clear! I even went back to it after an unfortunate trial of the Wonderbar. I'll never stray again.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

Eh, it's okay...

I ordered this because I'd heard great things about the Kiehl's line, and about this product in particular. A nice non-greasy basic moisturizer with SPF - sounded good for my combination skin. But I was kind of disappointed. It's not that the product was horrible or bad, it just wasn't that great. It was just okay, and for the price there are several other better moisturizers out there. I didn't notice any difference in my skin's tone or texture, but it didn't break me out either (so that's a positive). Because I thought it was kind of expensive for what you got, I won't be buying this again.
