I have tried a ton of pencil brushes from high end to cheap (Sigma, MAC, Coastal Scents, etc. etc. etc.) I have about 6 of these brushes & this is by face my favorite one. It retains its point after washing, but it has the softest bristles...great for sensitive eyes (which I don't have, but a lot of pencil brushes that feel fine on your hand or lid, feel much more harsh on the lower or upper lash line--where I use them to smudge shadow alone or over liner). If you are fed up w/ scratchy pencil brushes & need something that blends color wonderfully (or like I said, you have sensitive eyes), this is your brush. Do note, that this isn't the best to smudge liner as it might be a little to soft & something stiffer might be in order...but, if you use the technique I do (which is laying a darker shadow down w/ a flat liner brush near the lash line & then smudging out w/ another shadow w/ a pencil brush--which gives the most blended/beautiful finish) then this brush is perfect.
