Nars #45 Smudge Brush

Love this brush!

I love my Nars smudge brush. It smudges my eyeliner on perfectly which is great for smokey eye looks. Previously, I was using a slant tip brush but it never quite blurred the line enough for my taste. I love soft eyeliner rather than the harsh solid lines. This is especially useful for the lower lashline! I also love using this to smudge eyeshadow into my lash line. I find this brush picks up the perfect amount of powder for this purpose. I've heard Sephora makes a similar brush, although I've never used it myself.

My Go-To Highlighter

I love this highlighter since it's practically foolproof. It's so easy to apply since you can layer it on for a very subtle look or a more dramatic one. The texture is odd, a dry creamy powder (does that make sense?); however, it allows you to just run your finger over the top of it and apply it directly to your cheekbones, browbone or inner corners of your eye. I also love how there are three shades, so you can use it regardless of whether your makeup for the day is cool, warm or neutral. My favourite is the peachy shade since I'm so warm toned. It brightens up my skin without ever looking obvious. I use this a lot, especially for the daytime and/or the office. The pink shade is also great for brightening up your under eye area where the dark shadows tend to be. It works a lot like Benefit's Eye Bright pencil which Carmindy from What Not To Wear swears by. Nothing but love for this product!

Stila Stila Sun SPF 15

Good for a first timer....

I have this in Shade #1. I liked this bronzer alright when I first bought it. Being that it was my first bronzer, I didn't know what to expect. I like that it's matte, meaning it doesn't have shimmer (at least not to my eye). Shimmery bronzers only make me look oily. However, I find this bronzer to be a little orange, like the previous reviewer said. This isn't horribly noticeable on my NC30 skin but then again, I don't layer it on too much. In addition, the compact is slim and I find there isn't much product there. I think next time I'll check out Nars Laguna rather than go for this product again.
